First, can we not say “it’s been 20-25 years since a coach has been able to consistently win 6 games at CU”? The past 15 years have been bad enough, let’s not add a decade on to that!

Second, your podcast aged extremely poorly with the assumption that Dorrell was going to get a big assistant coaching staff salary pool. While it did increase 20%, it is still 9th in the PAC-12 (Dorrell is also 9th head-coaches salary with all of Cristobal’s bonus’). Also, I am old enough to remember last year, when we all were excited about the coaches Tucker would bring in from Saban’s tree, and it turned out to be largely unknowns/QC guys. Some worked out well, but pinning our hopes on this hire being made based on great assistant coaching hires seems to be a fools-errand.

Hey, Henry. Just finished watching the introductory presser and I have to say that I know one thing for sure: Karl Dorrell is a Forever Buff. The only way he leaves is if CU moves on from him. He’s not going to leave CU.

There were a few moments where I thought he was going to break down in tears. I think the football program as found it’s Tad Boyle. And ya know what? I’m good with it! Let’s do this!
