You can’t say the product of college ball is similar to that of the NFL.
2% of FBS players are good enough for the NFL. Last year’s LSU team would get steam rolled by the Browns. That’s why NFL players get that revenue share, aside from the obvious fact the NFL players a pro. College players are not pros. NIL is fair, but a 50% revenue share is not even possible. All women’s sports would be gone, which violates title ix.
I wouldn’t care if every 4* or 5* played in a small NFL minor league. Most college fans go to games to watch their school with their traditions.
