Same one as last week. Think you may have uploaded the wrong podcast.
We just fixed it, thanks!
My ramblings during the pod:
Thank you for bringing up Sam Darnold’s extremely punchable face. I just kept getting agitated during that game, not because we were losing, but because that kid was actually allowed on the football field.
I have a 9-5 job and I am leaving work early on Thursday and skipping on Friday in order to go to the game. I’m with you guys on the soft fans. The same fans that were so glad we don’t travel to the Big XII cities any more are the ones that are pissed that we have late starts now that we play most of our conference roadies on the west coast.
Shap, I’m proud of you and your enunciation on “Ales” today.
Re: UW/USC
I’m with RK. I think USC could very well pull off the “upset” in that game. I have been more impressed with the Trojans than the Huskies in most aspects of the game. But, the game is in Seattle, so it’s tough to call the upset with a ton of confidence.
Re: Threats to the Rose Bowl
I am scared of USC. Both CU and USC could win out, and if the Buffs lose the P12 championship, the Rose Bowl won’t get to decide who they want, but rather will have to take the highest ranked P12 team, which might be USC. I’m not scared of Washington St or Utah, presuming that we beat them in the next few weeks.

I was in that student section that got kicked out. I was standing in the front row pleading with the students behind me to stop throwing stuff on the field, which is why we ultimately were kicked out. I’ve never seen anything like it. Also, side story: the day we lost to Texas in the Big XII championship 70-3, there was a basketball game that night and I sat in a section at that basketball game with a guy that chanted, FOR THE ENTIRE GAME, “70-3! FireBarnett.com!” He was super drunk and depressed.
Brian Cabral was the man. When he took over for Hawkins and re-instituted the no-red policy was one of my prouder days as a fan.
