Speaking of Basketball, just want to encourage fans to attend some road games. CU plays at CU, KU, and Dayton in Chicago. I plan on being at all 3.

On the issue of starting fast: I’m not buying that having a fast tempo is going to do the trick. Maybe the offense can avoid an immediate three and out that way, but playing fast still requires you to make good blocks, good reads, good runs, and accurate throws. And even if those things are lining up and the offense is moving the ball – the final piece of the puzzle is the play calling. And right now I feel like when we should stick with North and South plays and be physical, we end up calling a cute play at the worst time that kills all of the momentum.
These guys just have to believe that they can punch teams in the mouth and go out and play like they seriously mean it. Coach Tucker needs to find his dawgs on this team. Those are the guys that get guys ready to hurt something. They bark and bite all day long. They smell blood and no one’s bleeding yet. That fire just isn’t there with this team yet. And just like the Broncos, I think there are very few of those type of guys on the roster..
Tucker has to find himself some Devil Dogs.. Look out once he does.
