Loving the pod and pumped to get some CU Buffs coverage! Any chance we could get maybe get a short weekly update on the athletic department as a whole and about sports that aren’t football and basketball. Probably isn’t realistic until each season starts but that’d be nice as the whole department has been really successful as of late!

Buff fans come first. Day time games are empty enough in Boulder. Too many people hiking, biking, skiing. No students are going to a 10am game. These kicks are terrible for boulder and only benefit east coast “fans”.

Which games would be held early? No one watches bad teams, good games get prime time

Good day Hammerin’ Henry.

Piggy backing on amaul’s comment and combined with the stated goal of not competing with other outlets for the same type of content, it would be awesome to hear from the following:

(1) Women’s Soccer – As a soccer fan, I have been able to casually follow them via Twitter, but it would be great to get more of an inside look. They have been very solid that last few years and K.D., Viska and a few others occasionally attend games.
(2) Track & Field / Cross Country – The pedigree of these programs is crazy good. Wetmore and his distance runners just keep winning individual and team championships. What is the secret? Is it just running at altitude?

As for the football team, keep the content coming on that front too. For this long time fan, it is great to have more content to consume and I am looking forward to seeing your understanding of the athletic department and the different teams grow over time. It’s clear you are a little green still but so too were Ryan, Ally, et. all back in the day and look at them now.

What’s up Henry! I’m excited for the start of camp. I’m out here in California and I’m all for the 9am games. Flood the market with PAC-12 games, from first game of the day to the last one. I’m up at that time and usually already watching football so why not? The highlights throughout the day is an excellent point. Get in front of the people and voters. On your point for Sparaco I thought since he wasn’t on scholarship he was eligible immediately? Can you clarify that?

On your OL comment I saw some where the new coach was having the linemen use different blocking techniques for different situations, and I guess last year they did the same one every time. I think this OL coach is going to be great.

One cool segment BSN use to do was ask the players five questions to get to know about them. Will you be doing that? I think you could probably push it up to 10 questions. If you think it’s a good idea here are the questions I remember and ones that would be interesting.
1. Is a hotdog a sandwich?

2. Who is your favorite current athlete at CU not on your team?

3. Who is the best/worse dresser on the team?

4. Which coach would you want next to you in a dark alley?

5. What are you majoring in?

6. What is your favorite song out right now?

7. Any hidden talents?

8. Funniest teammate?

9. Hardest hitting teammate?

10. Favorite thing about Boulder?

Feel free to use any of those or add some better ones if you think it will be a good segment.

Last a question for Andre. Which Buffs have the best chance to get drafted?

Thanks guys!
