When you take into consideration the terrible officiating, this game was not even close.

The officials blew 25 personal fouls on the Bruins compared to 17 fouls called on the Buffs. Furthermore, the Buffs were awarded 38 free throw attempts of which they made 27. The Bruins shot 16 attempts and made 15.

The one sided officiating was clearly an effort by the officials to keep Colorado in the game. Colorado is the much more physical team where the Bruins are clearly a gifted finesse team. It is a travesty that these officials worked this game. In general PAC 12 officiating is bad, but the Colorado game was the worst I have seen in 20 years of attending Buff basketball games. I was ashamed at the blatant homer calls throughout the night.

This could just as easily have been a 45 point blow out had the Bruins received a modicum of respect.

You’re really bent out of shape after blowing out a team on the road? Also when you shoot that many 3s, you’re not going to be fouled as much.
