Ca’Ron Baham of John Ehret in Marrero, LA. is coming to Boulder. The Colorado Buffaloes add the former Missouri commit to their own class list for 2016.

Baham, a 6-foot-1, 190-pound recruit, played quarterback in high school but he was recruited to Missouri as a wide receiver and to CU as a defensive back. In his junior season, the Lousiana native threw for 1,080 yards and 10 touchdowns while rushing for 1,750 yards and 27 touchdowns. He missed a majority of his senior season with a ligament tear in his knee.

“First off I would like to thank the man above for blessing me with my talent and ability to enjoy the great sport of football,” Baham wrote in the tweet below. “After discussing my options with family and coaches, I have decided to continue my career/education for the next 3 to 4 years at Colorado University.”

Baham was listed as a preseason second team All-Lousiana on offense and defense coming into 2015. He is rated as a three-star athlete by every major scouting service.

ESPN said of Baham, “(He) is of solid physical qualities for an athlete. Is gifted with borderline height and possesses a build that will fill out as he matures. Plays with impressive strength as he consistently outruns the grasp of defenders and breaks many tackles. Speed is good but more impressive is his ability to maneuver and create with his feet.”

Arkansas, Missouri and Tennessee were among the other schools interested.
