The 2017 recruiting class for head coach Mike MacIntyre and the Colorado Buffaloes added another name on Monday afternoon, continuing the program’s momentum on the recruiting trail. Or, as the coaches say, the herd just got faster.
Maurice Bell, a three-star wide receiver from Murrieta Valley in Southern California, chose Colorado over a final three of Washington State and Iowa. Bell also held offers from the likes of Arizona, Arizona State, Michigan, Nebraska, Missouri, and Boston College.

As has been the case with so many of Colorado’s top recruiting hauls on the offensive side in the past year, wide receivers coach and co-offensive coordinator Darrin Chiaverini was Bell’s lead recruiter.
With Bell now on board, the Buffs have three wide receivers on board for the 2017 class, including two four-star prospects and Bell who is a 5.7 RR three-star according to Rivals.com, right on the edge of joining his future teammates as a four-star.
Speculation about an incoming commit began on Sunday afternoon as several current commits and Colorado assistants began their usual social media promotion.
