BOULDER- The Colorado Buffaloes dominated the Stanford Cardinal from start to finish en route to a 91-72 victory over the Cardinal.

“That was as good of a two halves that we have put back-to-back offensively certainly all year,” head coach Tad Boyle said after the game.

The Buffaloes almost looked like a whole new basketball team. Their ball movement was impeccable, getting themselves open looks on seemingly every possession. That passing led to Colorado shooting 56.5 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from the three-point line. They finished with 25 assists.

“We’ve been talking all week about sharing the ball and getting the best shot,” Derrick White explained. “When we’re moving the ball like that and no one has an agenda and no one is hunting their shots, we’re hard to guard and getting easy looks is something we need to continue to do.”

Three players led the Buffs in scoring with 15 points, Xavier Johnson, George King and Lucas Siewert. White only took seven shots  and finished with nine points, eight assists and no turnovers.

“I wish like hell Derrick White wasn’t graduating because he is special,” Boyle said after the game. “I’m just being honest, he makes plays that you can’t coach.”
