BSN Nuggets Podcast: Matt Moore of CBS Sports joins show, weighs in on Mudiay, Jokic, Gallinari, more

Harrison Wind and I were very happy to have Matt Moore of CBS Sports join us post-game last night to talk Denver Nuggets basketball. Moore covers the league at large, but lives in Colorado and is around this team as much as anyone. Nuggets podcast segment breakdown: 

Segment 1 (open – 24 minute mark): We recap the Detroit Pistons game with a focus on individual players including: Danilo Gallinari and his role within the offense, Emmanuel Mudiay, Nikola Jokic, Gary Harris and the absence of Kenneth Faried (due to injury).

Segment 2 (26:30 minute mark – 51:30 minute mark): We play a quote from Michael Malone talking about coaching expectations for a himself vs. David Blatt, who was recently fired from his job with the Cleveland Cavaliers. This gets us talking about where the Nuggets are in terms of progressing under Malone.

Segment 3 (54 minute mark to end of show): A look ahead at the Atlanta Hawks game, the upcoming East Coast road trip and some discussion on Jusuf Nurkic and his current situation where he’s medically cleared to play, but stuck on the bench — for now.
