Mason Plumlee’s minutes dropped Friday against the Phoenix Suns as the Nuggets’ now-reserve center came off the bench in favor of Trey Lyles who moved into Denver’s starting lineup. However, the limited minutes didn’t stop Plumlee from being front-and-center for a second-quarter confrontation between Plumlee and Suns’ big man Tyson Chandler that resulted in a flagrant foul-penalty (1) assessed to Chandler. After the game, a battered and bruised Plumlee spoke with Denver about the sequence.
