BSN Avalanche Podcast: Should Avalanche fans worry about preseason shot totals?

The BSN Avalanche Podcast drops this week with a bit of a new sound to it as hosts J.J. Jerez and AJ Haefele talk about the preseason success of the Colorado Avalanche, specifically the back-to-back shutout wins over the Minnesota Wild and Dallas Stars.

The guys also tackle the topic you hear about so frequently with regards to the Avalanche, shot totals. The Avs have been winning despite being outshot, a trend the Avalanche have seemingly mastered over the years and one many hoped new head coach Jared Bednar would be able to fix.

The third and final non-Twitter segment has an exclusive interview with Avalanche defenseman Patrick Wiercioch and the guys talk about his role on the team and where he fits on a crowded blue line.
