BSN Avalanche Podcast: Panic at the Pepsi Center?
The BSN Avalanche Podcast drops this week as hosts J.J. Jerez and AJ Haefele began by saying goodbye to Marek Svatos, who tragically passed away at age 34 over the weekend. After their Svatos salute, they get back into the on-ice conversation with a focus on the loss to the Chicago Blackhawks last week.
The next segment saw plenty of conversation about the weekend back-to-back against the Minnesota Wild and the St. Louis Blues and whether or not it’s time to start pushing the panic button.
The third segment has the guys chatting about the budding goaltender controversy as Semyon Varlamov’s poor early-season performance has opened the door for backup Calvin Pickard to begin playing significantly more.
The final segment of the day brings in producer Rob The Robert as the trio gets into a glass half empty view of the season before ending with their glass half full perspectives on the Avalanche through four games.
