BSN Avalanche Podcast: Nathan MacKinnon shows budding leadership

This week’s first episode of the BSN Avalanche Podcast drops as hosts J.J. Jerez and AJ Haefele take a deeper look at the success the Colorado Avalanche experienced last week against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Next, the guys look at the debacle against the Florida Panthers, what went wrong and enjoy a heated argument over Semyon Varlamov’s play.

The third segment looks at the day’s news of Ben Smith being claimed off waivers by the Toronto Maple Leafs and what it means for the Avalanche. They also play an interview conducted with Nathan MacKinnon after practice yesterday in which he flexes his newfound leadership muscles a little bit.
