The poop stuff was a new thought to me, though it shouldn’t have been, as I have often wondered about if guys ever pee in their gear, what with all the gatorade, and say you get caught in overtime or something. My question isn’t if a player can hold it or not, but if it’s going to make someone uncomfortable enough to affect their play, say it’s in overtime of a playoff game right?

LOL… I’m on my way to Costco to get some new glasses as we speak. Since I only had a chance to see day 2 this year, I’ll put my trust in the BSN Pro’s with this one. I sincerely hope there were no issues with anyone’s pants on or off the ice. Go not-as-little G!

I do really love AD’s insights – good ol’ days, kooky opinions, poop talk, etc. However, this episode felt like it was about 70% AD, 20% Jesse, and 10% AJ. AD please let AJ have his say, I believe you are overpowering the show lately big guy. We need 40/40/20 por favor.

Thanks all for the excellent continued coverage; it’s why I’m here.

Unsolicited feedback/constructive criticism from a subscriber, take it or leave it:

AD- I have read your writing for a long time, and really appreciate it; it’s your best medium. It’s difficult and frustrating to listen to you regularly interrupt and talk over the others during the podcasts. Once you make your point, leave some room and don’t jump back in as soon as you disagree or think of something else. You can always make a counterpoint once AJ/Jesse have had their chance. It’s better for everyone, especially the audience. I’m certainly not the first or only listener to feel this way.

AJ- Thanks for the deep research and stats work. It’s gold, Jerry. Sometimes your mic placement makes it tough to hear you.

Jesse- Thanks for keeping the structure and organization of these podcasts in line. Tighter the better. We’re all counting on you.

It would be fantastic if BSN mixed the podcasts so everyone has the same mic volume. While different voices and mic positions have an impact, simple compression/limiting should make for an easy fix. Fresh mics/cables/pop filters would be a dream come true; hopefully with more subscribers this can happen. The “bad cable” crackle that rears up here and there shouldn’t happen repeatedly. Once it does, time for a new cable- or mic, depending on what’s broken.

Lastly, I’d love it if the podcast really stayed hockey-focused, with a podcast every week or two that encourages tangential talk/non-hockey listener mail/etc. That way everybody wins, and I don’t have to skip ahead when the conversation gets sidetracked and I’ve got limited time to soak up Avs news. This is already better than it was a year ago, but as soon as tempers flare and it starts to get heated, I often bail out on the show. It’s not hard to find people arguing online; finding great coverage of this team has historically been another story. Since this is the best spot for that news, I’d rather not hear anger/frustration between y’all when tuning in.

I really appreciate the effort by all of you; please don’t take the above too harshly. Thanks for reading and keep up the great work.

It should be simple enough to run the audio through a normalizer before posting to even out audio levels. I usually listen in my car and AD is insanely loud, while I can barely hear AJ.

Less than 10 minutes in and I’m ready to click out of this due to Dater’s completely disrespectful behavior.

OK, I managed to soldier through the entire podcast. But it was a real chore.
I tune in to hear everyone’s thoughts. But Dater’s need to continually interrupt to hear himself talk all too often shuts down the opinions of others. This has been going on far too long. The podcast would be a much nicer/easier listen and more informative if it would stop.
