Yes. I agree. I don’t understand Elway. He is treating this as if Lock is a mirror image of Lynch. I don’t believe he is but if nothing else hasn’t Elway learned that at least you need to throw a guy out there and let him sink or swim at least a little bit. And see how he handles adversity and challenges . If you have to caudle every rookie you draft. maybe that’s the problem with who you are drafting at the QB position. And I believe Lock has 10 fold more confidence, dedication and maturity than Lynch had or ever will. Don’t understand Elways hesitance ?

I completely agree. I also think it’s ridiculous that they’re letting what happened with Lynch determine what they’re doing with Lock. Lynch was simply a terrible pick, Elway was desperate and took a completely shot in the dark. Lynch wasn’t bad because of being rushed or anything along those lines, he was simply never going to be good. Nothing they do right now seems to make any sense.

If everyone is going to “scatter” for the bye week (does that mean the coaches scatter too) why not have him (Lock) doing extra practice with Tim Patrick all of next week. Patrick is coming off IR and is going to need the extra work. I’m sure Winfree would volunteer to do some extra pass work. I’m sure some unused running back from the practice squad would take handoffs. Give us a break Fangio and Elway. There is something wrong that you are not telling us and we (the fans) are ultimately your boss and we are holding you accountable.
