Nice write up, Zac. I’ll be interested to see if his media performances pick up now that the excuses for conflicted behaviour will have gone.

His height doesn’t worry me as much as his weight does as Baker and Russell Wilson are both in the 215 – 220 range and, Baker in particular, do their damage more from the pocket than being dual-threat.

And his personality and presence is certainly not a match for Mayfield who I’m convinced would have got Denver into the playoffs. At least he wasn’t still on the board at 5. No way Dorsey was letting him go!

Not to worry, Zac! Instead of the most dynamic passing AND running QB to come into the league in years, we got the backup QB for a Conf. competitor!

I’m a lifelong Broncos fan. Even a lifelong Elway fan (since I met him in 1985/3rd grade anyway)…but I’m getting really sick of the “L Way.”

This is not the 2015 team. The Broncos are not close to competing for division or Conf. championships. Elway needs to accept these facts and get the rebuilding process underway. if the miss on video gamer Paxton Lynch made him too gun shy with an unprecedented back-to-back top-10 picks, then he shouldn’t be General Manager. Period.

It pains me to say, but this is the beginning of the end for Elway….and perhaps the Broncos sell-out streak.
