I gotta side with Hank here and honestly, I don’t understand why people say college football has the best regular season in football. It’s an awful product! There are 126 or so teams, but it seems like it was a fantastic week of football if you get two or three big games on a Saturday. And you’re always gonna have a ton of blowouts. That’s *not* good football. I want to expand the playoff *because* the regular season is poor quality. AND because I’m tired of seeing the same 6 teams fight for four spots. Why even have the other 120 teams if it’s always gonna be OU, OSU, Clemson and the top few SEC schools.
I also do think there need to be some G5 automatic qualifiers… here’s the thing on that Andre, some years, that G5 school will get blown out. But G5 teams are always being underrated. If there’s no auto bid, good and deserving teams will regularly get left out. Gotta include the teams that win their football games!
