The Big T
Hey guys,
Not commented in a few weeks, as it’s been crazy busy..
Something I have wanted to say, however, is that Isaiah Simmons is a BEAST. What can’t he do? He is No 3 on my board, and I’d only pick Thomas, Young, and Burrow ahead of him. NO ONE else. If Jerry Jeudy is on the board at 15, and Wirfs, and Epenesa, and Lamb, and Ruggs…..
You take Simmons, if he’s there.
He’s a difference maker on Defense, elite play at MLB (and safety!) in year one. WR and OT a need, sure, but this kid is different class. We need to cover TEs better, especially with Waller, Kelce and Henry in our division, and THIS is the answer. WR and OL in Round 2/3.
Now the bad news; we’ll need to trade up to get him. Question is; should we?
Over and out.

Kelce did amazing in the cheifs offense why can’t Noah fant become that for our offense with the new OC? You said everyone but Fant would benefit I really feel like this might be perfect for him with his speed
BroncoNuggs
That was for the other pod but I have a similar question for you guys on fant and how he would be used now in this offense and I’m curious if the top offensive target for us changes with the new hire and how does it effect our top prospects

Gentlemen, *hat tip*
First off, having both Hank and Andre On the draft pod has been dope. Chemistry is fire. Keep it up!
Secondly, does hiring Shurmur change what traits Denver is looking for across the OL in the draft and how does this change Conner McGovern in the eyes of the staff? Is the #GovToGuard movement dead?
My first thought is that the likelihood of running more power/gap scheme stuff puts us in the market for a bigger guy at RG to make those concepts work.
Anyway, thanks guys!

Hey boys!
As I’ve been religiously doing my daily mocks I’ve noticed that we have a real chance to make some amazing acquisitions in the third round with our 3 picks. The names that will be available (or likely available) are insane. Here are some players that I think could contribute at a high level in their rookie years that we could get in the third round:
Leki Fotu
Patrick Queen
Najee Harris
Cushenberry III
Devin Douvernay
Calvin Throckmorton
Antoine Winfield Jr.
What do y’all think? Anybody I missed?
I was originally thinking we could use one of our thirds and our second to move back into the 1st and grab someone but I’m not sure that’s the best move now with all the talent in the third. Especially if we get a receiver and oline in the first two rounds.
The Big T
Najee Harris isn’t declaring. Bummer! Was hoping he would bring the Thunder to our already elite Lightening. There are some other thumpers available later on though; AJ Dillon anyone??
LONESTAR BRONCO
As many others do, I do about 3-4 mock drafts on the draft networks simulator.
Ruggs is there every time at 15 (is this likely) obviously combine will affect this
Also tyler biadasz is there about 80 percent of the time with the Broncos 1st third round pick. This seems very strange to me, how accurate is this thing?!
Looking forward to senior bowl coverage!
The Big T
He made it to top of round 2 on just one of my drafts I did (on TDN Draft Machine), and I have done HUNDREDS of these things. No way he falls to Round 3 imo
World of Suck
Real quick on the draft… I’ve been wanting a WR in the first round for a few months now actually, way before it was cool in Broncos Country. But I’m changing my tune a bit here now. Unless Lamb or Jeudy slip to 15, I would rather trade back 5 to 10 spots in the first to grab a WR or take my WRs on day two. I did a mock draft this morning where I got K.J. Hill out of OSU in the third and Denzel Mims out of Baylor in the early 4th. Of course, mocks aren’t always accurate, but I also could’ve gone with Michael Pittman, Duvernay, or Gabriel Davis in those slots. I love Ruggs and Viska, but I just don’t know that they are worth *that* much more than some of these day 2 or even day 3 guys. I think it might be better to bulk up in the trenches in Round 1 and get some WRs later on.
Here’s how this approach played out in my mock:
1st – Epenesa EDGE
2nd Wanagho OT
3rd KJ Hill WR
3rd Biadasz IOL
3rd Edwards-Helaire RB
4th Denzel Mims WR
4th Richie Grant S
I would’ve preferred to get Reagor or Hamler in the second round, but that didn’t pan out, so I took the lineman instead. Thoughts?
The Big T
Another one with Biadasz in the 3rd. Hmmmmmm

Hey guys, I did post this to Mase and Andre while at the combine, but for some reason they didn’t read it out. I am guessing I was too late, although I did think they were going to answer the unanswered Q’s in the next pod ?
Can you rank these WRs in terms of speed, agility, catch-ability, slot route running, and what round you think they will go? I believe they are all at the Senior Bowl, and hopefully will be available in 2nd round and beyond, and should resolve our void of a speedy receiver in the slot..
KJ Hill – WR – Ohio State
Devin Duvernay – WR – Texas
Van Jefferson – WR – Florida
Brandon Aiyuk – WR – Arizona State
Feel free to add someone who is small and speedy, that I have missed off or don’t know about.
Love
