With the signing of Melvin Gordon, does that take players in the mold of Antonio Gibson off the board entirely or just push them way down in priority?

With the increase in roster sizes, lack of receiver depth on the team and the number of intriguing receivers in this draft. how would you feel and how likely do you think it is we draft three receivers to really turn over that room and stockpile talent at the position for years to come?

Thank you both for all that you do, the draft pod is easily my favorite part about DNVR and if it were up to me you two would have a daily podcast as well. Stay safe and have a nice day DNVR family!

Gents,

I love thinking about our offensive personality with Viska as in the picture you painted in the last pod.

Describe, in your mind, the differences in personality the team would take in the following Draft scenarios.

Jeudy/Peart
Ruggs/Biadasz
Lamb/Cushenberry
Thomas/Pittman
Wills/KJ Hill

Thanks boys, that last pod was an instant classic – a Banger as the kids say.

I hate to think about this but .. Would a shortened season (Or God forbid a cancelled season) change anything in terms of who you draft this year?

There’s been a lot of talk about doubling up on WR in rounds 1-2. What about doing the same with OL, specifically with tackles? Given the depth of the WR class, and the fact we routinely see impact WRs surface from the mid-rounds, why not draft Lock’s bookends for years to come, thus allowing us to move on from James and Bolles after 2020, which would really help with the cap? One of the top 4 OTs paired with Wilson or Cleveland, or another high upside tackle in rd. 2. Sign me up for building through the trenches, and this seems like the ideal time to do so. What say you?

Hey draft pod fellas,

It gets me so excited to hear you guys give a raving endorsement of the Broncos drafting Ben Bartch! I went to school at Saint John’s as well. Ben’s first year at SJU was my senior year, and we were on the track team together. I’d be absolutely ecstatic if the Broncos picked him in round 3 like the Peter Schrager mock you talked about last week!

A draft question that has been filling my mind is, how about a potential trade-up with the Cardinals? Most mocks have them interested in OT at pick 8, but with a quick QB in Kyler Murray and division opponents like the 49ers and Seahawks who’d love to run the ball 25-30 times every game, it seems more crucial for them to invest in the D Line. My thought is they’ll stay at 8 hoping Derrick Brown falls. If he doesn’t, perhaps they’d like to trade back to 15 and go for Kinlaw?

Would you be interested in trading up to pick 8 given the fact it’d probably cost us pick 15, a 3rd, and a 4th? If so, who would you grab or be hoping to grab at 8? Thanks for all the great work you guys do!
