Hey guys, huge fan of the pod. I wanted to share a couple of different things in regards to the tackle class.
I wanted to know what you guys think could be a guy Mike Munchak would want early in the draft and a guy that could be his next late-round gem? I have looked at Brady Christensen and I think he could be a guy that we take on the third day of the draft.
Second, what is your philosophy for ranking Tackles, do you tend to regard size/power or footwork as more important? I think looking at how well Mehki Becton played for such a crappy situation I am more inclined to favor the size and power aspect.
I truly believe this tackle class is one of the best. It has in my mind close to 8 starters (Sewell, Darrisaw, Vera-Tucker, Slater, Jenkins, Little, Leatherwood, Cosmi). Even though Little hasn’t played in a long time I think he is worth the risk of a second-round pick and paired with the coaching of Munchak could be an all-pro compared to other guys in the second (same with Leatherwood as well).
Lastly, I just want to say I know most of you will love Slater but I think Darrisaw is the number two in this draft just looking at how well he was able to bully guys around at such a young age. Thanks again, love the pod.
