My boys,

I can’t get my head around yesterdays ratings. Tyreek is a superstar, and the chiefs will miss him, but they must have a plan, no way I’m writing off KC just yet, I have the Broncos 3rd, purely on the rosters, but after 3 to 4 weeks into the season that could change quickly, I’m still worried about our O Line protecting Wilson! And a little tip for the gamblers out there, boxing match Aussie Tim Tszyu vs Terrel Gausha in LA this weekend, add Tszyu by KO in your parlays, you won’t be disappointed. Cheers and Let’s Ride

hey guys,

can we talk more about kj hamler? he’s said that he expects to be ready for week 1, but he suffered a pretty serious injury less than a year ago, so i’m not sure how he’ll look? what kinda impact do y’all think he can have on the offense? i know people point to the ‘easy’ opponents during the 3-0 stretch last year, but those games also coincided with the games where KJ was healthy and on the field so maybe he’s a difference maker out there. what do y’all think?

Can’t believe KC let Tyreek go. I am 46 years old and have been watching football my entire life and the only other player I have ever seen do things like Tyreek is Barry Sanders. That’s it. I get the Chiefs we’re up against it but you can’t move on from a guy like that until his skills are gone. But THANK YOU

Did you see Courtland didn’t have his knee brace on in the video? Very nice.

Paton just continues to impress me. This guys has a plan and knows exactly how to build a football team. His free agent signings have been great IMO. A couple of higher salaried but not overpaid players that filled but needs to go with some nice value signings of some really good players. I have no doubt this team is going to be hoisting another Lombardi VERY soon with Paton in charge.

Howdy gents,

It is time to put the chicken farm to rest as Von has moved on. Now it’s time to let Russ cook. I’m hungry for the future, the season, the tailgates, and for some DNVR bar food. Let’s cook those chickens and drink some Breck brews. Can’t wait to see everyone at the tailgates.

Thanks for the pod as always.

RIP Von Miller’s Chicken Farm

My Boys!

Growing up in the 90s, some of my favorite childhood memories were going to Broncos games with my dad and watching our John Elway led squad. My wife is now pregnant with our first kid and it’s so exciting thinking that their first memories of the Broncos will be with Russell Freaking Wilson.

What are some of your favorite sports related memories growing up?

Hey guys! With the change of scheme and quarterback are there any offensive players whose stock you think would be down? Hard to imagine it would be any of the receivers, but I’m curious as to how it’ll shake out with the o-line group as many of them were drafted/acquired for different blocking schemes. Would you presume it’s stock up for guys like Bolles and Risner? Potentially down for Muti and Meinerz?
