It’s amazing talking about non-QB free agents without feeling like it doesn’t really matter for the teams playoff chances.

Emotionally i’d want Von back first and foremost but if i’m honest JC Jackson would probably be Denver’s best move for both this year and the next 5.

Thinking about the next year or two I think Denver’s at least in the conversation for the super bowl, but in my opinion the big difference between possibility and contender comes down to 2 guys: Bradley Chubb and Dre’Mont Jones. If those guys can play to their potential this defense could be special and the offense will already be solid just by having Russ. Your thoughts?

My guys! From a fellow Ryan to another fellow Ryan Happy 30th birthday! I will never forget where I was when we signed Peyton and now I won’t forget where I was when we signed Russell Wilson. I was a sophomore in College at Kutztown University , Andre Reed’s Alumni and one of these days I need to teach you guys how is is said in Amish Country, when I saw the Manning news and now I was at work sitting in my home office when I saw the tweet and it proceeded to ruin the rest of my day of work as I could not focus there was too much excitement. The same joyous feeling came over me and thinking finally my Sunday habit of watching the Broncos will be joyous again! I can have my Son watch good football and hopefully it can sway him more towards the Broncos than towards the Eagles ( a lot of Eagles fans in the family) What a time to be a Broncos fan! My friend and I are already planning a trip to Baltimore when we play there and hopefully an eventual trip to Denver!

Gentlemen.
I am over the orange and blue moon over Russ coming to The Broncos. Finally I am excited for Broncos football again. Now Mr. Paton please go and get La’el Collins from the Cowboys to protect our franchise quarterback. While the thought of bringing back fan favorites Von Miller and Chris Harris would be great, I feel like the money would be better spent bringing in younger players with upside who wouldn’t chew up as much cap space. I’m even more excited for my first Broncos home game this year and I will see you at the bar and tailgate. Peace out.

Still on a high from the Russell Wilson signing. It was about 4am Sydney time when it broke and I happened to be up early to get a flight. It was sooo good to experience it “live” and I was refreshing apple podcasts all day waiting for the emergency podcast to drop. It did not disappoint. I too thought the Sea Hawks “Wiiiilllllsoon” post was legitimately funny and its a shame that someone could not see the humour in what must have been a tough day for some Seattle fans. With all this talk of QB1, what do you think will happen with QB2 in Denver. I take it that Teddy is too expensive to stick around as a backup? Are we in a safe pair of hands to run it back with Rypien in case Russ misses a game or two. Remember we are still in COVID world, the idea of a star missing a game or two in a season is not that crazy. I like Drew Lock but my Drew Lock No 3 T-Shirt has already been used as lawn mowing t-shirt to replace my now retired Case Keenum lawn mowing t-shirt.”
