RK – there is actually a way for a game to end 1-0. There is a provision in the rule book for a 1 pt safety. It’s never happened, but hey it’s 2020, right ? Ask Mase to explain.

Fellas!! Greetings from covid land, AKA the emergency room from another level 1 trauma center. We are doing our best to stay safe here, I hope you are doing the same.
There are many questions about the Broncos, Drew Lock coming back, and how our defense can stop a mobile QB… Can Jeudy hold up against Gillmore? Will Fangio’s defense hold the Pats to a reasonable score?…
Most of all I can’t stop thinking about what a 2020 home field advantage means? Sure, when the fans are packed shoulder to shoulder in the stands the crowd has an affect on the game. But in a COVID world, what is the difference between playing at home or away? Is it the travel? Does staying at home in your own bed without travel play THAT big of a role in winning a game? Does the PA generated crowd noise change how players feel in the heat of the moment? Is the background sound I hear on TV the same as the players hear on the field?
Bottom line… let’s pretend the stadium any given teams play at on Sunday are empty. What really gives the home team the advantage?
Stay safe amigos. Keep social distancing, wear your mask, wash your hands and be smart.
Wow what a game! Feels good to get a win but it was a little too close for comfort. I feel comfortable with Lock while also thinking there are some young QB lessons for him to learn. He should have had closer to 250 yards or so and 2 TDs if our players could catch.
Some other thoughts
– Shurmur has been around too long to call that play that resulted in Lock’s second INT
– Why is Hamilton still on the team? He is average at times but is a drop magnet. Could have cost us huge today and definitely cost Lock 30/40 yards and a TD
-Defense looked awesome today all around
-Give Shelby a contract and keep him a Bronco
Glad to get a win let’s see what happens against KC

8 games!!! Eight games in!!!!! Drew is playing his 8th game… And without his #1 wr an #1 te on the road, on the east coast at 1pm!!! And Drew is a rookie for another gms btw… New offense, injuries, coming back from his own injury… And you could tell he was the most concerned player on the sideline that he let his teammates down…. That’s the most incredible thing to me. The guy has his eyes on the field at the end hoping his boys got his back & they did.
Don’t worry 3….fant will be back next week and he can actually catch.
Ps: Cut Hamilton ASAP

Hi guys! Loved getting the win in Foxborough and don’t really care how it happened. I love that Drew was firing the ball down the field and Lindsey was running it well. As for the interceptions, I think the first was just a miscommunication. It was bad timing and needs to be cleaned up, but I put that on bad execution rather than play calling or decision making. On the second, I put the blame more on Drew than Shumur. I get the argument about not putting Drew in that position, but as was said on this very podcast, this is the time to let Drew off the leash.
Too many times last year the complaint was the Broncos went conservative in the 4th quarter. Running the ball into stacked boxes, being predictable, etc. I like the aggressiveness in that situation, I just don’t like the decision-making. But Drew has shown that he can and will learn from his mistakes and I expect this will be no different. There is a happy medium between aggression and being safe with a lead, but if they are going to lean one way or another, I’ll take being over-aggressive because I think this team can make those plays more often than not. Thanks for all the great discussion. Go Broncos!

It’s been a long time since I’ve commented but this team needs a kick in the ass. I don’t know if it’s a player or a coach but someone needs to light a spark under this team and it’s coaching staff. Settling for a field goal before the half is unacceptable to me. We need touchdowns. Field goals do not win in this league. Mr freeze out.
Ugly game but happy for the W and we definitely have a lot to like after snapping the drought in Foxborough. Defense was awesome and although box score geniuses will rip Lock it cannot be understated how much the receivers let him down. OJ was legit, Chubb looks close to 100%, Albert O (aside from drops) looks like a weapon can’t wait for him and Fant to be on the field together, but my favorite takeaway is the O tackles. Bolles continues to play great and I’m still mystified as to what they saw in Eli over Dotson who had another solid day. From arguably the biggest question mark on the team to one of the position groups I have the most confidence in. Much love Broncos fam.

Greetings fellas,
It sure feels nice to beat the Pats and remain undefeated against Cam. Drew was dropping dimes all game long, and I don’t put those INTs on his shoulders. Our defense needed to stand up and came away with key turnovers. A friend of mine who is a fellow Broncos lover isn’t a Lock believer and says that “Drew keeps missing the deep ball.” I would say he needs to open his eyes, but what can I say to him to help him become more of a believer. Also, what needs to change in the red zone so we can finally get some TDs instead of FGs?
Thanks, and stay safe and healthy!

I love how the ONLY narrative in the national media is that the poor patriots were helpless to defend their honor with little practice, injuries piling on, and just barely getting their quarterback back. Yeah. Okay, guys. The indignation directed at the Patriot’s loss is unbelievable in my eyes. Those spoiled New England brats had it coming. Tom ain’t in town and they’re not the shit anymore. But, of course that means it was unfair, because beating a team famous for cheating in their own stadium is apparently uncalled for.
Obviously a lot of assholes in the national media had a collective few hundred dollars on this one and just watched it fly away.
Moving on, so you say there’s a gameplan available to beat the chefs… Well, if deep balls and a 4 man rush is what it takes, dammit. Those were the only 2 things we couldn’t do through 5 games, but like my dad (a Packers fan) said this evening, “If you guys had Noah Fant and Melvin Gordon this week, it would have been a 30 – 10 game” and that kind of ass-whooping would have me more convinced. Better receivers and an ability to run for touchdowns would have resulted in a blowout win for us and Drew’s statline would have been more like 22-30, 270 yds, 2 TDs, 0 INTs
Couldn’t stop smiling today, guys, and I’m proud to say I pulled an RK and woke up this morning feeling a win coming on. It was in the air, even up here in Washington State.
Sorry for the long comment, but the win made it all worth it

Saw Troy Renck tweet that “someone needs to remind Lock that Jerry Jeudy is on the team”.
What do you think is holding up the chemistry with Lock and Jeudy?
