My Boys!
Last season we saw growing pains with the Defense and O-line. Both units struggled but showed improvement. Now, in year two both units look to be the strength of the team. Should we expect a similar arc from Shurmur’s offense? Is this year is about the install of the offense, and next year is when the success of this years effort is measured?

From my point of view the Chiefs are evil!

I don’t like Chiefs Kingdom. It’s coarse and rough and irritating and it gets everywhere.

(to Patrick) No… I am you’re father

With 6:44 left in the contest, Tebow tosses the pig 56 yds to Derek Ecker for the game winner .

Tebow went 2 for 8 in the game – yes you read that correctly.
He Rushed for 49 more and a score.

Von had 1.5 sacks and 4 qb hits.

Tyler Robert Palko handled the balls for the Cheifs after Dumerville and Miller wrecked Matt Cassel’s life.

Whoopi Goldberg turned 56 that day.

Just saying.

Oh, and next Friday… is Hawaiian shirt day… so, you know, if you want to you can go ahead and wear a Hawaiian shirt and jeans.

Hot take: the pacer test, as well as the other tests (agility, rope climb, etc), was actually lit and that day was the 4th best day of the school year (after, of course, Field Day, parachute day, and the Scholastic Book Fair).

Anyways Chubb is back and Carolina BBQ sauce is still the worst of the big 4 and this comment was mostly just a name flex so I’m outta here, stay thicc.

This might be crazy, but is it reasonable to think that Garrett Bolles possibly played a role in Mike Munchek (sp?) coming to Denver? Do you think that maybe he saw the raw talent and knew what he could do with him? Obviously his family was probably the #1 reason, but is this possible?

Greetings gang,

I keep seeing reports of Hamler practicing and the chances of him playing this week getting better. My question is: are we rushing him back? Are we going to be doing him more long term harm letting him come back so soon? I think his ceiling is high, and I’d hate to see his career limited due to re-occurring issues that could be mitigated by letting him fully heal.

Stay safe, and stay healthy!

Excited to see Fant and Albert O on the field together. We’re also excited to see Lindsay and Gordon on the field together. To me, this screams Hoss Y Juke! The play is an empty set with 2 RBs on the outsides running hitches, 2 TEs out wide running streaks and 1 WR running an option route and it’s a classic, deadly Patriots formation that looks even better than it sounds.

Something like this plays to the team’s strengths so much and using it when we never have before (to my knowledge) in a big spot against the Chiefs when we might finally have Fant, Albert O, Lindsay and Gordon seems perfect. The more you think about it the more it makes sense, who better to have on streaks than two of the fastest TEs? Both our RBs are pass-catchers. WRs banged up? Use some formations with only 1 WR. You can call it multiple times in a row (like how the Patriots called it 3 times in a row on their only TD drive against the Rams in the Super Bowl) or mix it up and start putting 1 of the streaking TEs on a slant or curl cause the defender will think they’re going deep.

This is wishful thinking, but why not take a page out of the playbook of one of the best teams and coaches the NFL has seen? Incorporate great formations and plays especially if it’s from someone else’s playbook and you’ll keep your opponent’s guessing every game.

I should’ve been clearer on the vacation post I made from yesterday-
The winter I referred to is the 2021-2022 winter, not the one coming up in a couple months.
I also won’t be 21 if I go in summer, but once winter rolls around I will be, which is why I noted that I could enjoy a my first breck brew at the DNVR Bar if I do my pilgrimage in winter. Broncos, Nuggets and Aves hopefully will all be playing if I go winter 2021/2022.

Also, am I the only one who never had a bad experience with the pacer test?

Yoooo, what’s up my g babies! One fun question before I get to the real thing: Hypothetically, if you guys got a call from Vic Fangio saying they needed all 3 of you for one game what position would you play? (Take into consideration your skill set and who you think you would play well next to on the field including the other 2 guys on the podcast lol)

Question: Seems as if Sutton and Casey are for sure out the year but any new words on Von Miller and how his healing process is going? Is it really possible that WHEN we make a playoff push he could actually return for the playoffs?

I appreciate ya’ll, stay blessed!!

Let’s go!!!
Gentlemen all week I’ve had a feeling about this team. Powers are growing and this week is as good as any for an upset so let’s line it up and drill these 58 yard field goals!

On Sunday Phill is going to rush for over 250 yards and at least one TD!

What say you!?

A route running god whose name rhymes with Berry Booty once asked after being drafted “Is it cold in Denver?”

With that being said, is there a chance Berry Booty struggles to catch passes in the frigid Denver climate this week?

MY BOYS! Happy Football/Feel Good/Fired Up/Bum Talk Friday! When our beloved Denver Broncos take the field on Sunday at Mile High to play the Kansas City Chiefs, it will have been 1,865 days since the Broncos last defeated this foe. It’s time to put an end to this atrocity, especially at home. In the parlance of one Zac Stevens, the Broncos need to cause Sunday shrinkage to the Chiefs. As has been discussed on podcasts this week about what Denver’s wide receivers do best, how about seeing more of the following on Sunday? As RK has mentioned, DeaSean Hamilton’s only saving grace right now is how willing, able, and adept he is as a blocker. How about a bubble, smoke, or tunnel screen(s) to Jerry Jeudy out of a trips formation with Tim Patrick and Hamilton blocking? Jeudy excelled on short routes like that in college. It would help get him more touches and a rhythm early in the game, too. If Jeudy has a big game, I think that Broncos’ chances of a victory greatly increase. Have a wonderful weekend. Here’s to another Broncos’ upset victory! DNVRMY SALUTE!

Hey gents,

This game against the Chiefs is going to be a big test for our interior offensive having to deal with Chris Jones, unless I’ve missed something and he’s still not healthy, but he was a full participant in practice this week. The Risner injury makes it even more difficult.

With that being said, do you see a game plan that contains more focus on outside runs, and possibly some quick screens to get the ball out quickly, in order to minimise his impact on the game?

Also, I’ve got a rushing TD for Drew Lock as my 58 yard field goal.

Thanks fellas, have a great weekend and go Broncos
