On Sunday, the Denver Broncos will have their most winnable game of the year as the head in to Chicago to take on the Chicago Bears.
After a disappointing 0-3 start to the season, will this be the franchise’s first win in the Sean Payton era? If so, will this this lead to the Broncos getting on a hot s break as they face Nathaniel Hackett and the New York Jets the following week? Could this be the start of Denver’s season turning around?

Hey guys, it’s been a while since I’ve commented.
I’m absolutely disgusted that Vance Joseph still has his job. This guy has been the problem that created this whole mess starting back with hiring him over Shanahan. He’s taken a top 10 defense from last year to dead last in every major category, how does that not warrant losing your job! At this point I feel like you have to make a change for the sake of the development of your players on defense. Because he is even making PS2 look bad.
Speaking of tough questions for coaches on Monday’s pod, please ask Sean Payton something along the following: We’ve been able to see your impact in improving the offense, but the defense has taken a massive step back, so at this point what level of trust/confidence do you have in Vance Joseph to make the necessary changes to improve the defense, and what would you say to fans that have lost all confidence in him?

The more I’ve thought about how we got here, the more I feel like getting too fancy has bit us in the butt;
Bring in a niche pick for head coach instead of the hometown kid who is a consensus rising offensive mind?
Don’t pick a QB with a 5th overall pick after you know you blew it and have a huge hole there?
Which leads me to my current thoughts. If you aren’t paying attention to the Broncos, you’re probably saying, “Get rid of Russ, fire Payton”. Which, ironically, is the opposite of what I think we should or will do. That said, if we DO end up with the number one overall pick, why not keep Russ and develop Caleb behind him, just like the good ol days? Especially if Todd’s assertion that we need to improve the overall roster, and we can avoid getting our franchise future being beat up behind a lackluster line?
