The Denver Broncos have not lacked big-name pass rushers over the last few years. Just in the past three years, the Broncos have had Von Miller, Bradley Chubb, Randy Gregory, Baron Browning and now Frank Clark on their roster. Yet the big-time production has not followed. Will this year be different for Vance Joseph’s group? Will Sean Payton’s offense allow the pass rush to pin their ears back finally? If so, who will lead the team in sacks?
On the DNVR Broncos Podcast, Zac Stevens, Ryan Koenigsberg and Henry Chisholm are coming to you LIVE from the DNVR Bar to break down all of the latest news in Broncos Country.

Hank’s take that he would rather stay home and watch the Nuggets and Avs playoffs than go to Hawaii got me thinking. Some of my best memories of watching the Broncos have happened on vacation.
During the 2013-14 season, I was in San Diego at the Guava Beach Bar & Grill during the AFC Championship game. Guava Beach is a Bronco supporter bar where the locals go to cheer on the team. The excitement in this place was electric. Every single person in the bar was a fully geared-up Broncos die hard, and watching the Broncos upset the Patriots and advance to the Super Bowl with a bunch of local supporters, in a city I was vacationing in, was such an amazing experience.
Also, shout out the Mockingbird Saloon in Austin, TX. Another great away city bar that will be filled with Broncos fans on game day.
Now I doubt Hank is going to find any Avs or Nuggets bars in Hawaii, but have any of you ever watched a game at an away city bar that supports your team?

Here is a link to a famous dunk like RK is talking about where a player (Tom Chambers) elevates off a defender. His chest is at the rim!

You guys are killing me.
As a “founding father” of this BSN/DNVR listener establishment (shout out to my fellow OGs Ryan and SpaceBar), I feel I must chime in to correct your assumption that the Declaration of Independence was signed by some guy on July 4th, then passed “on horseback” (REALLY RYAN?!) around to all the other guys, and somehow that’s why the holiday should be on a Friday?!
I’ll keep it simple so Chiefs fans like Hank can understand.
In 1765, Great Britain was like “yo, 13 colonies, we’re gonna tax you and not give you a say in the matter. We’re going to tax you, like, A LOT. On everything. And our soldiers can stay in your houses, too. Cool?” I mean, they were called “the intolerable acts” for a reason. Not sure what would have happened if they started passing the “bad but not too bad acts.”
The 13 colonies got pissed, no taxation without representation dangit, and got a little cray cray on the homefront. So the British sent some armed guys across the pond to get things under order (Lexington, Concord, etc.)
French were like “yo, colonies, you up? You hate Great Britain, we hate Great Britain, we should hook up.” The 13 colonies were like “hey France, yeah, we’re down, we just gotta take care of some things with our baby mama, then we can hook up.” So then the 13 colonies got together and decided they should write a letter to King Gorge saying they’re gonna break up and run solo for a minute.
July 2, everyone voted to break up, except for New York. They were like “uh, let’s see how this plays out before we pick teams.” They were the “Hank” of the 1700’s.
There were some back and forth for 2 days on the language of the deal – we gotta throw this in, we gotta keep that out – and on July 4th, the document was complete. A printer, John Dunlap, great great great grandfather of Cleveland Brown Carlos Dunlap*, printed it up with just the names John Hancock, and Charles Thomson.
It was read publicly up and down the countryside, generating support for the idea. On July 9th, New York said “ok, I’m vibing with this independence thing, I’m on board.” All 13 colonies supported the declaration, and July 9th they decided to make it on big paper, for everyone to sign. They didn’t have kinkos or anything, so it took them a few days, but on August 2nd, the delegates got together and signed the big version. Serious note, it was a big deal because they knew signing it could have meant execution for treason against the crown … but alas, they signed it anyway, and 247 years later, here we are, watching how many hot dogs some rando can eat on ESPN. God bless ‘those founding fathers.
So, we celebrate July 4th because that’s the day we all (except New York, screw you Jets) agreed to break up, even though it didn’t happen for a few weeks after.
* Also, I have no idea if John Dunlap and Carlos Dunlap are related, I just wanted to see if anyone would actually read this far.
Last in relevance but always in your hearts,
Nacho Brad
The Big T
My love for Hank has waned after hearing him go on about Donkey Bollocks, you’re all at the same level again in my eyes.
The Count
Hank dislikes Dogs. Fun. Leaving the house. Just about everything besides denver sports and golf. He’s essentially sacrificed his own joy for our entertainment. He’s kind of a Messiah, tbh.

Anyone who could spend their life on vacation and doesn’t miss the routine doesn’t have a good enough life to miss IMO. I love my day to day and would miss too many people to do that. Its like those people who want to be rich but also forget that there are people who are rich and miserable.
