Zac sort of addressed my concern with this pick yesterday which is that I LOVE the player but hate him playing for VJ. I’m curious if the statement that he will be at inside linebacker was a decision to best utilize his talents or a control put in place to make sure Vance doesn’t fail to develop this guy properly until we have a more fitting DC.
I obviously hope VJ succeeds because that means the Bronco’s succeed but history tells the story that our defense regresses to slightly below average and our young players aren’t developed properly.
Thoughts?
