Sorry, I’m not I’ve not been here to troll you Ryan, I’ve been dealing with some personal stuff. Also nice going on the streak 3/3 good luck with 4.
So my fun question, which hit do you like more Davis’s hit in Tokyo, or Atwater becoming the nightmares nightmare. Thanks and good to see a broncos win my heart needed it.
BRONCOS-SQUARED
It finally happened guys.
Today was easily one of the worst days of my two-year teaching career. Three straight, crummy class periods that ended the day left me in a world of suck. Not to mention one of those was my first evaluation of the year, which didn’t feel good. Add on having to stand outside for 45 minutes to watch out for any fights. Needless to say, it was brutal.
I had to run to the store after school, and I was definitely in need of a beer. Living in Boise, ID we don’t have a good selection of Breck Brews. Walking through my local store I wasn’t expecting much. Looking through the dozens of boxes and cans, I noticed they moved the usual box of Vanilla Porter, and I almost left in even more vexation since I thought they were gone for good. But could it be? A bright pinkish-orange box caught my eye. It had finally arrived in my neck of the woods. The fabled Strawberry Sky.
I am sitting in my kitchen typing this out, and crack, the first can is open.
The verdict: pure bliss. A damn good beer.
Sorry for the long comment, but I had to express this fantastic moment. My day has turned. Thank you guys for always making the day great with phenomenal content. Even on dark days, I look forward to your pods and commentary. Cheers!

I want you guys to know, that what you have done here is more than built a great platform to talk sports, you have built a family. This podcast has single handedly changed days for me. What you do for your community doesn’t go on unnoticed and I hope you know how much we all appreciate it. I have gained a bromance, a greater understanding of the game and our team, and above all else something to listen to so I dont pull my hair out in DC traffic.
Being so far away for our stomping grounds it can get kinda lonely being a Broncos fan. I had never watched a Broncos game or event with another Broncos fan – so when you do these watch parties or meet ups it makes an impact on people who never get those opportunities, this community made my experience at the draft and HOF twice as special… and twice as sketchy.
Essentially what I am trying to say is I appreciate ya and I feel real lucky to be apart of this family. This is a DAMN GOOD place to belong too.

Here’s a test for Broncos-encyclopedia, Mase. How many Hawaii/University of Hawaii connections can you make to the Broncos in the past 2 decades? I can think of 3 Broncos starters off the top of my head.
In terms of the pineapple on pizza thing, we had a saying on the Appalachian Trail when I thru-hiked it last year, “Hike your own hike.” No right way exists. Just do you and let others do them. Good life philosophy. Personally, I love pineapple on pizza, but it’s not for everyone.

I’m regards to our Uni # discussion – Jim Otto and Ken Burrough both wore the iconic 00s on their jerseys – the No Fun League has of course made 0 and 00 unavailable(although you can technically have 0 precede your number 1-9 if you choose but it’s never been done). I think the 00 jersey would have mega swag and be a coveted number – who do you gents think on the current Bronco roster would most want the 00s and who would they be best on ? And is their ever a chance the league allows these digits back?

As if I couldn’t hate TB12 more two QB sneaks for TDS while Sony Michel is sitting on the sideline. It’s like Belichick doesn’t care at all about my fantasy team at all.
The snow scares me, not sure I want to move to Denver anymore. Ordered a dalton Rinser jersey in white.
The number ordeal is also dumb to me. DBs in the single digits is sick.

I have my eyes set on a white Risner jersey someday when I get my money right.

Man, Mase… I knew you were intelligent, but you blow me away with how you seamless pull up random facts out of nowhere on every topic discussed. You’re like a walking cesspool of useless information!
You guys cover the Broncos so well I can’t ever really think of a good question so I am happy to ask irrelevant ones.
1. What is your favorite movie?
2. Have you ever dunked your PB&J in a glass of milk?
3. Regardless of its spelling, is it pronounced ReSES or ReSEES?
Thanks as always! #Mase4President
Guys, I understand we all wanna see Drew Lock.
I don’t wanna rush it. I honestly think you can ruin a young QBs development throwing him in there when he’s not ready. I’d at least like to see two games this season. Obviously if he’s ready Id love to see more, but he’s just getting back to practice! Why do you guys think everyone wants to see him NOW. Is it just impatience? I don’t wanna rush the process. This is the first time in forever I’m actually excited about a young QB in our system. Never felt that “it” factor with Lynch.
Finally, pineapple on pizza? Amateur. Like putting ketchup on steak. You’re ruining the flavor of everything else when you put something so sweet on there. Gross.
Thanks guys.

The tarantula migration is very real. I attended CSU Pueblo for a semester and had the pleasure of watching the ground literally crawl. One of the craziest things I’ve ever seen. Stay away from Pueblo Zac (and everyone).

Alright gents its flex time. When Breck brews joined up I was stoked. I actually worked with the distributor who does Breck a few years ago and still have good connections so here is the list of Breck Brews that I have in my cellar:
Barleywine 1 &2
471 Series: Huell Melon, Simcoe, Eureka, Small batch
Silver Salmon
Twenty Five
Imperial White IPA
Imperial Plum IPA
’17 Holidale
Barrel Aged ’72 imperial
Barrel Aged Imperial Cherry stout
Tequila Barrel Aged Ophilia
Imperial Vanilla Porter
Well Built
Kings Dish
I am missing a few from the small batch and specialty series but will complete them eventually.
Also, if you haven’t you need to try Nitro Pumpkin Spice Latte and Nitro Chocolate Orange Stout.
Go Breck and GO Broncos!

Hey guys,
Probably not a surprise that my first name is Drew. Another fun fact is that my birthday is on December 25th… yes that December 25th. My wife is not the biggest fan of Christmas so she decided a couple years ago that we should celebrate Drewmas. It’s basically normal Christmas but it gets a funny name and I get veto power on what we do (this year I’m thinking a comfy couch with a big glass of Nog, watching a rookie phenom from New Orleans come into Denver for a test against the best in the West).
Anyway it’s very surreal to hear all the different ways Drew Lock’s name has been added to the months and holidays for when we might see him play. It’s like everyone is part of my inside joke and it makes me smile every time. Just another way this pod and community is second to none.
For the record having a Christmas birthday is pretty sweet and doesn’t suck like you would think.
Yours Drewly

First time comment! Heard comment about BC Bronco! Another British Columbia Broncos fan. From a province that’s mainly Seahawks fans there’s surprisingly tons of broncos fans in BC! Not really a question but wanted to comment if you ever wanted to visit British Columbia Mase again should hit up the Kelowna in Okanagan area it’s absolutely beautiful in the summer for wine country and golf! If you have moment look it up and if you ever decide to visit let me know and I’ll get you on some Okanagan Spring beer (I’m sure it’s not as good as breck brews).Go Broncos!

World connections,
You can’t spell Loveland, Colorado without DNVR.
Pierre Edouard Bellemare is from Paris (Avs current 4th line center, who scored a goal against the Boston Bruins).
And obviously the Avs came from Quebec in 1995, the year the Colorado Avalanche won a Stanley Cup I’m their inaugural season (95-96).
Fun fact, Patrick Roy was not the original Avalanche goalie. Do you know who was? (Stephane Fiset and Jocelyn Thibault – “Tee- Balt”).

3 MORE YEARS OF JANOOOOO! The news has me feeling all kinds of positive vibes! It’s clear he is the biggest Difference Maker in terms of when he’s in and out of the offense. Very glad he’s locked up until 2022.

Pineapple does belong on pizza, I enjoy it. but it’s not my first choice.
I enjoy most of the thanksgiving food staples. My current favorite side is cheesy cauliflower ?.
Drew lock is a must for coming off IR. My other pick is a toss up between riddick and Patrick. My reason being both are receiving threats and give the offense more variety thus giving the defense more to think about.
Missed the deadline the other day.
Thanks again for the coverage.
You guys are highly entertaining.

Hey guys, pardon the mild litany:
Do you guys have an opinion on zoodles, the spiralized zucchini noodles used to substitute pasta? My wife and I have had to go on a diet, and these are probably the best part of the endeavour.
Second, the most comical pronunciation of our primary team color comes from the rust belt: all one syllable, “ARNGE”. It sounds less like a color or fruit, and more like a maritime venereal disease.
Finally, my biggest worry in this game is Tennessee’s left tackle, Taylor Lewan. What is the best plan of attack to eliminate his presence, or at least reduce his impact? He is a nightmare for any defensive coordinator. Getting past him is a team’s best hope, and toughest challenge, to get to and harass Mariota all game long

LETS FREAKING GOOOO
Extension for Jano!
Does this mean they see the future is in the youth? Justin Simmons next?
#32 jersey coming soon!
Peace, love and fullbacks baby.

Hey guys,
I’m curious if you’ve any insight into the fourth that was used to acquire Flacco. Who was available and who could we have if we’d kept that pick?
Thanks for the time!
P.S. here’s a rallying cry for Ryan’s blue check on Twitter. Once that’s been tackled, we need to start working towards Zac’s.
Lyin’, cryin’, yelling, or dyin’, we’ll do what it takes to get a blue check for Ryan!

What is a win/ win solution for this team and the fans? Win more games and be respectable(6-10,7-9,8-8), loose games to get a top 10 pick, Play Drew Lock when ready and hope he is “the One” but end up with a respectable record like above? I really don’t know. I want to watch this team play every Sunday but I feel as a fan if they loose just to get a top 10 pick, I feel like my ability to enjoy Sunday goes down the toilet. Im going to the game vs the Chargers at home (Dec. 1st) and just don’t want to watch a team that is obviously not trying to win at that time.
On another note, Do you see the game between Miami and Washington to be interesting. If Miami has a chance to win the game, does Flores tell his players to mess up so they can keep their spot for the #1 pick? Same with Washington.
Mr.Undrafted
Hey going to the game this weekend! Anyone have anything going on? Always down for a strawberry sky! Rk and zac let’s hang out! Cold snacks on me 😉
OklahomaBronco58
GUYSSSSSS!!!! I made the pilgrimage to Dallas for the OU-Texas game and went to the liquor store and finally found the holy nectar!! After listening in envy to the the DNVR cast and listeners rave about strawberry sky, I have finally found it! I can’t wait to crack the top on these brews and get the weekend festivities underway!! Also BOOMER SOONER (and tuck fexas)!!!

Random thought of the day…If DNVR Broncos was a Batman movie, Ryan would be Batman, Zac would be Robin and Mase would be Alfred

If we’re gonna criticize Elway for the bad moves he makes, let’s talk about one of the best moves he made that no-one is giving him credit for.
Through 5 games;
Matt Paradis- 2 QB hits, 15 QB pressures for a total of 17 QB pressures
Connor McGovern- 0 QB hits, 4 QB pressures for a total of 4 QB pressures
If you’re a believer in PFF’s grading system, then Paradis is the 31st ranked center in the NFL- (32nd is Gary Kubiak’s very own pick Garrett Bradbury, but that’s a discussion for another day 😉 ), where as McGovern is 13th, and 7th overall amongst all centers in terms of pass blocking.
It’s not all perfect with McGovern, but this is a move Elway was heavily criticized for, and it’s clearly paying off for the Broncos. Add in the fact that McGovern is 4 years younger and hasn’t yet had any durability concerns, and it’s clear they made the right move. Time to get Connor locked up to an extension.
