Hey guys,
Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to the Green Bay fan base in Lambeau. I flew to Wisconsin from Los Angeles and was immediately welcomed by several packer fans. The outcome of the game was disappointing however the environment was AMAZING. I’ll be attending the Charger game in LA week 6 as well, if any DNVR family will be there I’d love a chance to meet you! GO BRONCOS

Just explaining my post from yesterday for RK. I wrote the entire post in your honor without using a D or an N or V or an R. It was a way of giving you all props.
The Count.

Fun fact Ryan!
Regarding your comment yesterday about the NBA selling shares in himself, this has also happened in the NFL.
Yes, Arian Foster did this when he was in his prime, in 2013, playing with the Texans. Working in the investment banking industry I think it is a total boss move. You have to have big huevos and total confidence in yourself to pull that move. I think it is brilliant. Honestly wish more players would take this route. I’d love to own some Phillip Lindsay stock myself lol.
Anyways just thought I’d mention, hopefully we can finally get a W this week. But win or lose I’ll still love my team and community I was born in.

Just considering the intro, if you’re planing to write a new intro, I think it’s time to play that intro you got from a listener, the little girl who had learned the song from overhearing when her dad was listening. If I remember correctly you said you saved it on your computer until Broncos did something good. First win in 8 games might be that? Just for once instead of you singing.

I’m a couple of episodes behind, but Zac asked for Denver representation. I lived in Denver until two years ago when I moved to Iowa…close to a small town called Denver, Iowa. Denver, IA, has a population of about 1800 people, and they call it the Mile Wide City.

Guys! The Dalton Risner “sunrise” shirt should be Dalton’s face on the sun from the hit(?) kids show Teletubbies. If you don’t know it the show always started with a baby’s face in the sun. It was the weirdest thing I ever saw on a kids show as I was growing up. Then Sutton, Lindsey, the Bozz, and another young gun could be the tubbies running down a hill.
God this feels weird to write, but here we are as Broncos fans. Trying to find hope in weird shirts.
Prost!

Hey guys long time no comment! First of all welcome Mase! The best Broncos podcast around became legendary with the addition of the urban dictionary Mase! I’ve heard some people that have a negative outlook on the season and the team and I’d like to address it. Is the team in a world of suck? Yes they are but we can still enjoy this season if you watch it in this perspective, watch the young guys EAT! Risner is dominating his matchups, Phil is rounding back into shape, Sutton is making stride to becoming a legitimate #1 WR, freeman is improving from last year, Chubb is playing well despite no sacks yet, and we have a potential answer at QB in locktober. Long story short, is this season lost? Probably so, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy our team look forward to the talent as we get younger! We will get better and no matter what they’re still OUR Broncos! Keep up the amazing coverage at the new D N V R and Go Broncos!!!

START BRANDON ALLEN NOW! (v. 2.0)
I swear, I was going to let it go; just bear with me fellas…
Hypothetically, let’s say you had the opportunity to start veteran Joe Flacco, or a young, former 6th-round, undersized new guy. As Mase said, “The Broncos need a jolt of energy, badly, and I’m just not feeling it from Flacco…I’d rather go with the young guy and see what he’s got.”
Of course, you all were talking about Gardner Minshew, who has had 3 games to prove his street cred. But as Zac points out in his excellent piece on Minshew-mania, the Bronco’s shouldn’t shy away from a QB just because he doesn’t look like Paxton Lynch or Brock Osweiller. And Allen looks a lot more like Minshew than Lynch. They’re both 6′ 1″. Both went in the 6th round. And nothing much was expected out of either of them.
The Broncos indeed need a jolt, some *elan;* why wait 6 more games to find out if we have it sitting on our own bench?

YES!!! I recruited another to the Allen train!

As always great work. Two questions here. First TNF if that in not PI that can be overturned, never challenge another. As you may follow other sports do you see this sort of politics with officials? They IMO are making a statement about what they think of the rule change.
Second question Broncos running scheme changes. Royce looks good reading the holes in the zone scheme. Phillip to me is not shooting through the hole like last year. He would hit the LOS and then all the sudden be 5 yards up. Feel like I am not seeing the same. Is this a blocking issue or run style? Deciding the hole taking a step of speed? Either way expect both to keep getting better.

Bold prediction time,
Diontae Spencer 100 yd kick return for TD, Pick 6, and 1 sack. I know I am shooting for the moon here but I can have hopes and dreams.
As much as I want to see all of those things the return to me would be the most important. Spencer had a great return and it gave me the feeling that punts and kickoffs can actually be exciting plays again. If he can have 1 or more electric return a game I think things will turn around on all sides of the ball.
