Hey guys thanks for helping me out on Twitter (jmartin170). I am a new subscriber from Wales, Uk. I got into a very enjoyable with Mase back in October on Twitter. Been hooked since. Helps me with my cardio workouts.

Anyway my question is. With the likely exit of CHJ. What are your thoughts on bring in Kendall Fuller he is only 24 years old and has a high ceiling. Plus he could possibly be a secret weapon in the demise of Mahomes.

Thanks Guys

There’s a report out that says that the Browns are willing to let Joe Schobert hit free agency. Ben Allbright has said the Broncos would be a potential landing spot if that happens.

Schobert himself said that he was monitoring Shaq Thompson’s contract and is using that a barometer;

Thompson got a 4 year, $54 million deal, with $28m guaranteed, so that’s probably a starting point. How do y’all feel about going after Schobert?

I think a way we can make plans for away game DNVR meetups with Mase in the future is to figure out who lives where. For example, I live in the Kansas City area. Other DNVR listeners in the area could let me know and we could form groups. How do social media groups sound?

Just a thought. If you’re on board and live in Kansas City area, reply to this.

I want to jump into the Jersey/Uniform debate that is taking place on twitter as I type this out. I personally like the current uniforms and absolutely CAN NOT STAND The color rush Unis. They bug me with the block numbering. It just doesnt scream Broncos to me. Even when looking back on the classic D logo jerseys they just don’t hold up. The Color Rush jerseys are a hodgepodge of everything and look as such. They’re nice but love the currents more. I know Mase is absolutely triggered by the swoosh down the side (my subsequent favorite part of the unis) and I’ve heard him say in the past how it not matching the helmet also bug him.

You know what else doesnt match mase? Max Scherzer’s eyes! and he seems to be doing alright for himself! Just as the Broncos are with 3 superbowl victories coming in under the current banner!

I should mention that I say all of this in jest and that I mean no disrespect to anyone, especially Max Scherzer

Hey guys, I just want to point out that Jano has been very missed in the run game. I dont know stats but I can almost asure you guys that both lindsay and freeman had better numbers with jano then with beck. This scheme and blocking is very reliant on a good fullback. As for a speed reciever i would love Reagor or JK Hamler in the second. Also i just got my DNVR shirts and i absolutely love them. Keep up the great work guys

On today’s edition of DNVR out of context: “Joe Flacco’s got one of those big things that looks like a hammer. It’s so heavy he cab hardly wear sweatpants because it’s gonna pull his pants down. It just looks like it’s the same size when River has the tiny one. Same proportions for those guys.”

Trey Marshall went to the same high school as Pat Summerall ( drafted, of course, in the 4th rd of the 1952 draft as a placekicker from Arkansas). Summerall was a broadcaster for SB XXIV Which sadly the Broncos lost 55-10. Aaron Neville sang the national anthem at that game. His son Ivan Neville has performed with The Spin Doctors – of which the original membership included John Popper of Blues Traveler fame. (Feel free to sing Mase and Z Man). Although The Blues is a relatively new style of music, traveling is an age-old tradition dating back to neolithic times. This is the very same epoch, incidentally, that the “under-center” style of QB play was originally dreamt up. Call me an iconoclast but after 6500 years of one guy’s hands under another guy’s hind quarters I think it’s time for a change. RPO and Shotgun for Mr Lock please from here on out.

Hey guys,
I was listening to Tyler Polumbus on the radio today and he said that a lot of the top Tackles in this draft do not fit the scheme Denver wants to run. They are too big and can’t move in space is what he was getting at.
He put Austin Jackson from USC on the top of his list, along with Prince Tega Wanogho from Auburn as they are more athletic guys. Neither of them are projected to be 1st round picks.
This could be a blessing in disguise for Denver as they could spend their first round pick on a WR like Ruggs or Shenault. Then I propose we trade back into the first and get Mase’s guy Biadazs and then try to take one of these tackles in the 2nd.
I know Mase isn’t high on Jackson, but considering how much it seems like they might be sticking with Bolles and James anyway, I think taking a guy in the 2nd round to compete for the starting job would be good.
Imagine Ruggs or Shenault, Biadazs, and then say Wanagho in the 2nd round. Those 3 could give us a jolt on offense that is much needed. This would also mean signing McGovern and putting him at RG. I would have much more faith in that offensive line. What say you?

Been awhile but I listen to each pod as my daily routine.

I need to own up to my bold prediction saying Bolles will make the pro bowl earlier this season. I was loud wrong! Oh well, at least we know now.

I’m going to AT&T stadium Thursday to watch my hometown Pottsboro Cardinals play for the 3A state championship in football here in Texas. How about a big shout-out for them as it’s their first appearance?!

Last thing, I need to hear Zac say “open your eyes!” because that is just classic.

Here’s to 2020 and a big change in direction from the past 4 years.

I have a couple of questions about the draft. One: if Wirfs and Thomas are both selected before the broncos pick, who is the third tackle the broncos would consider? At the point would he be too rich for a 10-15 pick, making a WR a better pick?
Two: let’s say the broncos used their 1st round pick on Jeudy, lamb, or ruggs. Would it be too greedy to select laviska if he dropped into the late 2nd or early third? I know itd be unlikely he’d drop that far, but weirder things have happened.

I’ve just asked a similar question in the Draft Podcast. Think this is a great topic for discussion, as O-Line play is so hard for us who haven’t played it to work out and evaluate.

Mase, can you elaborate on the ‘Elway doesn’t want to draft Bama players’ thing?

We know that he tried to trade up for CJ Mosley in 2014, and he was on their radar again in free agency this offseason. Also, Vic has drafted two Bama players in his stints at DC (Quinton Dial with the 49ers, Eddie Jackson with Chicago), as well as adding Kareem in free agency, so maybe he’s softened up to that idea.

I know there’s a conception among a lot of NFL teams that Bama players enter the NFL with worn-down bodies from being overworked in college, so is that the issue Elway has with them? No doubt there’s some merit to that, but you get situations like Josh Jacobs, where they’ve barely played in college and enter the NFL with fresh legs, so every player should be treated differently.

Probably Jedrick Wills, and it’d be a reach taking him if there’s an elite receiver prospect on the board.

Also, on Wirfs- as much as we like to clown people like McShay, they are pretty plugged in when it comes to mock drafts. He has Wirfs going 30th to the Patriots, right now.

Its something to monitor as more connected people (Daniel Jeremiah, Bucky Brooks, Peter Schrager etc) release mock drafts, but could be a case of the NFL not being as high on Wirfs as the fans- and in that case, I’m taking Ruggs in the first and trading back to the 1st for Wirfs. Would be a home run!

If this scenario happened, I would prefer the Broncos to trade back and take Alex Leatherwood. He has spent time at guard and tackle.

Hey I want your guys’ thoughts on this idea, and I am surprised the comparison has not been brought up. What do you think with Lock compared to Elway? Elway had a strong arm and was always trying to zip throws in. He also in my opinion watching his old games did not have the best footwork and threw off of his back foot often.

Sorry my comment got cut off short. Elway struggled his first year, hit a stride in the 80s and then still had some pedestrian seasons including a 5 win season in 90. I think if Elway builds this team up right Drew can develop into that guy.

Also in regards to the Chiefs game…it was COLD!!! And I have not seen that much snow at a game in forever. I kept trying to decide if I felt the Broncos got dominated, but it just comes down to domination is not the right word. The Chiefs controlled the game and the Broncos left points out there that we should have capitalized on.

Last point, I was pretty frustrated with Lock throwing two picks in a row. He was gifted one back with the penalty but then just a poorly under thrown ball to give it back again. Would like to hear your guys thoughts on that series of plays.

Thanks as always,
Litvakski

What jerseys do you own. I have quite a list.
Blue Jerseys: Von Miller, DT, Jake Plummer, Brock Oswieller, Brian Griese, Jay Cutler, Champ Bailey, Bill Romanowski, Tatum Bell, Darrent Williams and the Rare Jerry Rice
White Jerseys: Chris Harris and Payton Manning
Orange: John Elway and Jay Cutler.
I also own a Matt Ryan Jersey I bought to Troll Packer Fans back in 2016. And 2 Tom Brady Ones.
Do u prefer Reebok or Nike? I’m a Reebok guy since I’m a bigger guy. Nike ones are too tight for me. Have a good one guys.

Morning Fellas!

Id get up in arms about the Pro Bowl, but we all know its a popularity contest. Its easier to make All Star teams when you are loud and annoying like Dez or Josh Norman, Stay quiet and reserved for the most part, and you wont get the recognition you deserve. see CHJ.

Simmons is thee best young safety in football, i love Reem, but no way am i taking his season over Justins.
