I want to play devils advocate… Take away everything off the field for Watson. On the field, Watson is a great QB. I think Cleveland is betting on that. If Watson only sees a 2-4 game suspension, the balance of power in the AFC will change. That’s why they gave him the $$. If not, they are billionaires and probably don’t care too much. why would they? Billionaires don’t care what us mere mortals think. If Watson is at the helm for the browns, which teams do you think could beat them? Especially with their running game.

BTW… Maine is awesome because they stay quiet. We talk ALL THE TIME about how GREAT Colorado is… And what happened??? the Texans and Californians showed up. Now we’re F*^%ed… go figure.

I’m not going to lose my mind over Madden and their silly ratings but because it will be a conversation. With the top 4, the order can be debated but I think those 4 are locks. I really don’t think anyone can confidently say that Burrow or Herbert are better than Russ, although they could prove that this year.

Dak is straight up not better than Russ. And Russ is LEAGUES above Lamar. What are we even doing here?

Sorry I haven’t commented in a bit, for some reason the comment section won’t load when I’m on my phone so now that I’m home I’ve got some catching up to do. I have to start with some congratulations. To Hank for the promotion, you’ve shined in a part-time roll now let’s see if you can bring it everyday! To y’all for the Avs cup win, I was sad when they crushed my Oilers, but happy for DNVR getting the Cup!

Back on Pro Football Hall of Fame snubs, can you believe there is no one from the CFL!? Damon Allen had 72K passing yards, 12K rushing yards, 400 passing TDs and 100 rushing TDs. Mike Pringle rushed for 16K yards and 140 TDs. It’s criminal neither of them are in the Pro Football Hall of Fame even though they’re the greatest CFLers ever, with accomplishments rivalling the best of the NFL.

I’ve actually been to Maine, if you make the cross-Canada road trip (like I did a few years ago) you likely drive through Maine. It juts into our country between Quebec (the French folk) and the Atlantic provinces (beaches and lobster). You guys crushed your last Canadian geography but I thought you might need a little help out east. It’s beautiful country over there, imagine Cape Cod but with more nature and less people.

Gday boys! Haven’t commented for a while, but haven’t missed an episode! My family and I are 6 weeks away from our trip of a lifetime. I’ve spent through the roof, but managed to secure tickets for the rams/bills opening game, and will then see Texans at broncos in week 2, and then see the broncos at raiders 2 weeks later. We’re also seeing a Notre Dame game in South Bend, Cubs at Wrigley, Yankees at Red Sox and the opening night Kings game vs Vegas just before we fly home. I’m so damn excited! Could have picked a better Bronco home game but with the dollars I had to spend, I prioritized a potential win over a better match up. Hope that doesn’t blow up in my face!! It’s a real priority to try and meet you guys. After all, I spend 1 to 2 hours everyday listening to you blokes!! Question, is my best chance to meet you at the tailgate for the Texans game or at the bar on game day! Can’t wait to visit. Thanks for keeping me in the Bronco loop, Aussie Dan

I spent the weekend in Kalispell MT watching a horse jumping competition which had me thinking about that terrible Van Halen song Jump which in turn had me pondering balls, batted balls that is, the kind that get swatted from the sky compliments of such D lineman as Shelby Harris who we no longer employ which had me wondering if that single loss alone could account for a loss or half a loss this season. I know that our new stallion bean tosser more than makes up for the loss of Shelby of course, but I’m wondering if you think our Inside pass rush or ball knocking down prowess will be a big issue this year? Will the dearth in the middle cost us a W along the way and if so how?

All this Madden talk got me thinking about Manning joining the Broncos back in 2012. I was curious to see the team rating as well as notable players before Manning joined and after. So I did a little research and put together a 3 year span of the team ratings from 2012-2014 and notable player ratings as well.

In Madden 12 (The year before Peyton joined the Broncos) The team was a 74 overall. DT was a 73, Decker was a 69, and Orlando Franklin was a 67.

In Madden 13 (The first year Peyton was in the game as a Bronco) The team skyrocketed to an 85 overall. DT was an 81, Decker was a 78, and Orlando Franklin was a 76.

In Madden 25 (Peyton had been on the team for a year) The team was an 89 overall. DT was a 90, Decker was an 87, and Orlando Franklin was a 86.

Just goes to show how valuable a Franchise Quarterback is and how huge of an impact he has on an offense. Even though the Broncos were slightly disrespected this year in Madden, I can see them being unstoppable in Madden next year.

I have some BIG LIFE NEWS!!

I’ll officially be moving to Denver this coming January and will be attending the Colorado Media School!! I’ve only heard good things about them…but I’m curious what y’all’s opinions are of the school?

I’d be lying if I said you guys and the DNVR community didn’t have a big part of me choosing to move to Denver for school instead of back to Vegas. I’m currently trying to decide if I want to get an apartment closer to the bar or closer to the school…

Couple more things…

I agree with RK on his “pro-more sports teams in Vegas” stance…you wouldn’t think it…but locals really love and support their teams out there…I remember the first week I lived there…it was during the Golden Knights Stanley Cup Finals run…I was shopping at an Albertsons when over the intercom someone started chanting “Go Knights Go!”…the chants quickly rang all throughout the store for a solid 2 minutes. Super cool experience. I know, I know…the Golden Knights are a sensitive topic around these parts…but i must let you know…I watched every Av’s playoff game and have officially jumped over onto the bandwagon…so I hope you’ll have me!?

Also, hotel auctions are absolutely a thing! I do Uber eats almost every night and have seen them in MULTIPLE hotel lobbies while delivering. So take that HENRY!

One more thing, I’ll be in town for camp next week and will be bringing with me a surprise donation to be used at tailgates! At least I think it’s going to be a surprise…unless the person I’ve been coordinating this surprise with has already spilled the beans…haha
