I don’t see a full NFL season happening. Take a look at this famous photo from the “Freezer Bowl” between the Bengals and Chargers in 1982. Link-> https://www.ohiohistory.org/getmedia/3b0fcf51-f0f7-4b11-8dc9-77fb1d3b09c4/Freezer-bowl-image?width=600&height=337 <-Link
In that photo, we can see how far exhaled droplets travel: Everyone on the line of scrimmage is immersed a cloud of pulmonary effluvia, while they breathe deeply to catch their breath. It's the perfect storm for a respiratory disease.
As far as your sponsorship goes, I've always gone au naturel down there, but my wife says I look like I have Art Garfunkel in a leglock, so maybe it's time to Manscape.

Funny thing is that I had a replay of the Freezer Bowl on a few days ago as I worked into the night on some stat stuff I want to use this season, and I didn’t even think about that. Great point … even if it is a humbling one about the reality football faces in 2020.
Orange and Blue coming for YOU
Alright guys I have a scenario for you on the trading Von conversation, if Jacksonville had offered 2 first round picks(2016 5th overall, 2017 4th overall) and we took Leonard Floyd or DeForest Buckner with the 2016 pick and the next year got Patrick Mahomes would you do it? Is it possible? First round picks too high? Either way I love the debate and love the DNVR community.

New subscriber here! So sorry if this seems long. Ive been listening to the show basically since Covid started. Being a bronco fan from New York living in Foxborough sometimes makes it hard to find broncos content. Let alone dealing with all the pats fans. It always ends up with my flashing my broncos tattoo and walking away with pride. So again i appreciate you guys always dropping the knowledge! So my question is if you could pick any 3 receivers and a tight end from any timeline, who would be your wombo combo of receivers? Mine would be Rod Smith, Courtland Sutton Wes Welker or Emanuel sanders for the slot and obviously Shannon Sharpe as TE thank you all for your time! Have a happy 4th!

My boys!
First off i hope everyone in the DNVR community is well.
I’ve got to back Mase on the Von debate. Unfortunately Zac, great Scott isn’t an option. Your not just trading a player with Von. He’s a leader, great ambassador and absolutely a seat seller. Something money can’t buy.
If Drew Lock goes out there and absolutely balls, come contract time you pay the man! Or should the Broncos trade DL3 because his trade value is possibly at its best. Nope just nope… (open your eyes)
On a lighter note sandwich talk. One of my all time favourites has to be Tomato, lettuce, peanutbutter and mayo. So good.
Quick question, with the covid prescience do you think we’ll get to see a Vic in a box this year?
I cant wait to witness the GO FLY ZONE!
Count Bridgeula
How bout the Washington Sub Pars? They have had 3, yes, merely three, 10 win seasons since 1992. (That’s almost 30 years!) They are a joke of a franchise. They have a slanderous nickname. Their owner is a dirtbag.
They are the worst franchise in the league. And, don’t give me any crap about the history of the name and the franchise. History is changing. Yes, history changes. It’s not static. Get with the times, Snyder.

Hey guys,
So ever since we drafted Jeudy & Hamler in this draft, I’ve wondered if this can potentially be the best WR group we’ve ever had, especially considering all the hype we are getting from people like Chad Johnson. So I have a listed some of the best WR groups the Broncos have ever had. How would you rank these groups: (2020) Sutton, Jeudy, Hamler. (2014) Demaryius Thomas, Emmanuel Sanders, Wes Welker (2013 “best offense ever”) Demaryius Thomas, Eric Decker, Wes Welker (2007) Javon Walker, Brandon Marshall, Brandon Stokley (1998) Rod Smith, Ed McCaffery, Willie Green (1987 “three amigos”) Mark Jackson, Vance Johnson, Ricky Nattiel
Thank you guys, hope you have a great 4th of July, stay safe

Hey Gentlemen, quick question. For some reason Calvin Anderson(LT) seems to pop up in Twitter comments more frequently than most depth O-Linemen. I especially noticed his comment on Bolles’s workout video. Is this guy an actual contender or just another guy. Might be the surprise of the off-season…

Offseason topic, entry 3:
Fun game to play in groups of 2 or more, called the “Penis” game. You and one or more players play in a very public place where you must progressively say “penis”; but each much say it louder than the other, until someone refuses to commit. Punishment for not continuing at your turn is as agreed, suggested punishments;
– naked run
– eating 25 hotdogs / sausages
– playoff as wide receiver 3 for the LA Chargers for 15 years.
Rumor has it that Count Lockula has been banished to eternal punishment for his unwillingness to shriek “penis” at the top of his lungs with in a nursing homes. So now he lurks the halls of DNVR offering forth every word he has ever known over several centuries.
So; to kick us off…
Penis!!!!

I left this for anyone who wants to watch it but this video from NFL Network a throwback to how the bronco’s acquired Peyton Manning and the media frenzy surrounding it ??? HAS ME PUMPED FOR DREW LOCK AND THIS TEAM …HERES WHY …..
No drew is not Peyton Manning by any means we hope he can be 75% of that but that’s not what excited me ……it’s to know how drastically WRONH national media was about the broncos lol ….. We beat the Steelers in the playoffs with a young team with a lot of talent a great offensivline that was held back by teebow abilities or lack there of ….. yet in this vid u see analyst saying broncos was the least talented team trying to acquire Peyton Manning that the chargers were the team to beat even with bronco’s having Peyton …….THEY WERE WRONG ESPECIALLY PETER KING ……who had a lot to say but I remember him seeing us in training camp the year we played the Seahawks in the superbowl and he predicted before the season started as von did … SUPERBOWL ….. So watch the throwback video on YouTube of when we signed Peyton Manning and understand bronco’s are a small market nationally and people just don’t know about us but it’s cool #LETHEMSLEEP

Hey guys, Happy Friday! And happy 4th of July weekend.
Let’s talk John Elway. Everybody says The Drive is his iconic clutch moment, and it definitely can be argued that it is. However, I wanted to bring up the Drive part 2. I can argue that it is actually his most clutch moment.
Down late in the 1991-92 Divisional round against the Oilers, Elway and the Broncos were pinned on their 2 just like they were 5 years back in Cleveland. Elway went on to lead 2 clutch 4th down conversions and Treadwell eventually made the game winner.
Mase, were you watching that game? Would love to hear your thoughts on what was going on around then. I was a baby at the time and was probably crapping my pants like the Oilers defense that night. Too soon?
Anyway, thanks for letting me reminisce. And go Broncos!

Yo fellas,
You mentioned Knowshon Moreno!! Now there’s a Bronco player I loved. Having a rocky couple of years, dropping all the way to the practise squad, and not saying diddly-squat about it, just enjoyed the grind, supporting his team mates in games, and got back up the pecking order until he was starting. You never heard a peep from him, never heard him complain once, and I could list hundreds of players who would have bitched and whinged all over social media and the press about it. A lot of players can learn from him. Miss you Knowshon..
This player is one of my favourite Broncos of all time, namely for the crying at the anthem. As you know, I’m from the Motherland (haha, never called it that before), and I cry at your anthem. Yeah yeah, laugh it up fellas, but I honestly do. It is so emotional, well written, a great tune, and gets me EVERY time. On the flip side, I DESPISE our National anthem……God Save the Queen??….gross!…..it is so cringey! Come on UK, let’s change our National Anthem to Land of Hope and Glory, or something more emotive and wonderful like the Star Spangled Banner.
….and to those Brits or others that point out the “rockets red glare, bombs bursting in air” line, attributing it to war, well that isn’t true. It is all about defending their land from the British bombardment during the Battle of Baltimore, not about attack, just defending their land from us crappy British. Nice one America
What’s your favourite rendition of Star Spangled Banner? As a Hendrix Fan, I’ve kinda gotta go with the instrumental version at Woodstock, or Whitney Houston at the Super Bowl in early 90s.
Peace out, love you guys, and have a great weekend

The first airing of Monday night raw after 9/11… Jillian Garcia a wrestling announcer sang a rendition of the National anthem that I will never forget and one that will take me to a very angry sad place everytime I even think about it.
It’s sad and pathetic to think that one political party has fought nearly my entire lifetime to alter the public schools curriculum & higher education to hate the very country they live in. There’s no respect for anything here that is older than an iPhone & I fear a day that young people have to fight for the very freedoms they take for granted daily

MY BOYS! Happy Feel Good Friday/Squeaky Bum Talk Friday/and possibly a Fired Up Friday! I hope that you each have an enjoyable Independence Day Weekend. I find this quote by Harry S. Truman particularly meaningful, as we pause to reflect on the birth of the United States of America in 2020, and confront problems and challenges currently facing us that at times feel insurmountable: “America was not built on fear. America was built on courage, on imagination, and an unbeatable determination to do the job at hand.”
The discussion about undrafted free agents on yesterday’s podcast made me think of a trivia question for today. I will post the answer once today’s podcast is made available. Which players, who signed as undrafted free agents with the Broncos, ended up winning a Super Bowl as Broncos?
It can’t be said enough, but thank you for the community that you each have fostered here and for the material that you individually and collectively produce. DNVRMY SALUTE!
Jonny G.
Hey gang!
I hope this makes it in under the wire, and I hope everyone is staying safe, healthy, and cool during this blazing hot northern MN 4th of July weekend.
With the statement coming out from the Washington football team today, I think that the name Mase had mentioned, the Redtails would be an awesome team name.
My other comment was about on Wednesday’s pod, Zac and Mase were discussing punishments for cheating teams, I think the NFL does need to be more strict and taking away playoff eligibility would be one good punishment. Another one that my dad and I have discussed is take away a team’s home games for the next year. That would really hurt them.
No question today, I’m still playing catch-up!
Thanks!
Jonny G.
