(I wanted to note this is a repost from yesterday’s pod)
Hey guys,
hope you all are doing well. I just needed to say how y’all are such incredible people. I appreciate you so so much, thanks for making everyone here feel like we are all a family.
This all needs to stop. We can’t continue to ignore these problems. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who was affected by this horrific tragedy, and everyone in the community. Thank you guys again for everything.
Much love,
Sebastian

Mase’s TLDR comment from yesterday was 1400+ words. Legend.

Let’s face it. America is broken. We’ve grown to value ourselves over each other. We’ve become obsessed with amassing our own wealth rather than looking at those around us who could use a hand. We spend more time and money “defending” ourselves from nonexistent intruders than we do talking to people on the street. We incarcerate rather than rehabilitate. We divide rather than rally together. We’ve allowed corporations to decide our path despite the fact that we actually have the power to topple any such rough beast. Our paradigm is flawed. Greed and Power are winning over charity and communion. DNVR is a bastion of hope.

Agreed one hundred percent. Well said.

The 2021 secondary will be stacked, but 2022 will likely be missing some combination of Bryce Callahan, Kareem Jackson or Kyle Fuller. Who do you think will in the que to fill those gaps? Someone currently on the roster or will it likely be someone snagged in the draft?

Fellas,
I have fallen in love with getting Kyle Pitts if he is available at 9. The defense is ready to go and giving Lock another weapon cannot hurt. Plus the clock will reset on having to pay a tigh end 14 or possibly 15 mill a year when Fant’s contract is up. Pitts might allow the team to be able to keep both Sutton and Jeudy around longer.
How say you?
MAYBEtheDINGOateYOURbaby
So? Aldon Smith to Denver for cheap?
larrydennjr
I’d love to hear you guys perspective because I REALLY!!! REALLY!!! REALLY !! …love the idea of taking a flyer on Jamie Newman ….. I’m just trynna understand why would you use the #9 pick on Trey Lance when you could trade down use an extra 2nd yo get Jamie Newman his ball placement his arm athleticism is phenomenal he’s just a lil more raw and needs to develop …. Why would u spend the 9th on Trey Lance who needs to develop as well over a Jamie Newman ??? Loved to hear ur thoughts

Hey guys!
Let’s finish off the division with the Minnesota Vikings. Denver and Minnesota have a habit of playing heart pounding thrillers on the reg. Arguably, the greatest game during Tebowmania came in Denver’s last game at the Metrodome. Tebow and Christian Ponder dueled in a game that had EVERYTHING. A pick six, a safety, 5 lead changes, the game tied twice in the 4th quarter, a two point conversion, and a Matt Prater buzzer beater to win the game. Does anything top that?
Mase, what takes the cake against the former division rival for the Bucs?
And can anything come close to Superbowl XXXII as the best Broncos game against the NFC North?
Broncology
I only brought these issues up, because your crew, in particular mase brought them up. This is a broncos podcast, and you guys are the best at it. however, if you want to use the time to discuss other topics besides broncos and suggest strong actions be taken in civil or political arenas, then you can expect strong responses to be attached in the comment section. My message yesterday was in direct response to the message your team delivered while listening to the pod.
I respect your decision to not finish my comment on air.
Glad to see you back on the pod again Ryan. Haven’t heard your voice in sometime.
Best regards.
FlyinMayan
Please respect the fact that we just had a massacre. It’s not all about you.
MAYBEtheDINGOateYOURbaby
There’s a massacre in Chicago every weekend man. Just because its in beautiful Colorado doesn’t change the criminal aspect or the political aspect of pushing it hard on every channel and paper nationwide
The USA has more guns than people and they rank about 15th worldwide in mass shootings. Unless the data is manipulative which it is usually because its a polarizing subject.
Colorado has common sense gun laws… Criminals really don’t care about laws

MY BOYS!
I am anxious typing my first comment, I feel like I am talking to celebrities! lol. You guys at DNVR rock and make me feel as though I am a Denver local all the way out here in California. I have been a subscriber for two years and have incorporated the pod into my daily routine. It is something I always look forward to and I wanted to thank you guys for the great coverage and genuine wholesomeness.
Y’all have even sparked an interest in sports journalism for me! So for my question, I was wondering if you guys would be willing to give some detail as to how you got to where you are today? i.e. college, degrees, internships, other stepping stones, etc. I am a college student finishing up my third year and was just curious. Thanks!
Also today 3/25 is my birthday! I turned 21 today and looking forward to drinking my first Breck Brew at the DNVR bar when I visit my family in December later this year! Hearing you guys wish me a happy birthday is going to make my whole day! Also can you please say hi to Christine! She is my girlfriend and does not know I am commenting tonight, but I am going to surprise her tomorrow when I have her listen to it! I think she will love the shout-out, lol! Thanks guys!
Best,
Cole

Happy Birthday Cole!

How much does one drink when we talk about a “Cost Controlled Kareem”?
Answer: A lot, joyfully and while wearing very little clothing
Speaking of joyful frivolity. Let’s tackle this one shall we?
“Guns don’t kill people, People kill People”
Great on a billboard, sure, but I’ve yet to see someone take the lives of 10 people in supermarket with a kitchen knife.
“Arming law abiding citizens provides protection from the armed unlawful”
1) I’ve yet to see a case where an armed civilian used a weapon to successfully stop a mass homicide. It’s not even a disincentive for the perpetrator who doesn’t value their own life to begin with
2) Arming citizens puts more guns in circulation, and appears to provide no meaningful social benefit
“Reform in some states hasn’t worked”
Localised reform doesn’t fix a systemic, federal, issue. Banning the sale of weapons in one state when you’ve got open borders and plenty of weapons in circulation is futile.
“It’s too complex a problem and no one has a solution”
There’s a *beeping* remote control car on *beeping* Mars sending Snapchats back to some dude in Pasadena and you blokes can’t figure out how to stop your citizens from getting access to semi automatic weapons and killing each other in the fruit and vege section in a supermarket?
You don’t have a problem of resourcing, logistics or intellect. You have a problem of intent.
Love you all to bits, and here here to what the Count said. DNVR is a bastion of hope in a pretty *beeped* world.
HipHipOuray
Hey guys.
Could we see a situation where we draft another cornerback in the first round similar to what we did with Bradley Roby in the no fly zone Era? Double down a strength. I’m all about it if it’s best available player.
(Don’t have to say this on the pod unless you want to)
Also, I know this is a hot button topic in the comment section recently but just have to show some praise for you guys on your ability to convey your opinions in a way that was not polarizing. Imo. Side note did you watch the Micheal malone press confrence after the game a couple nights ago? Brought tears to my eyes seeing how emotional this guy was.
The Matrix
Despite the venue , people sure do love to argue don’t they fellas?
Any how, do you guys actually know how to play mine sweeper or do you just click till you blow up.
Also after 4 years of being a sub, I think I finally figured out how to change my name.
Go broncos, go dnvr, go the collective effort to make a world a better place. Try to make the world a better place instead of angrily tapping on ur phone all day trying to prove a point

Espousing your personal obsession with firearms or your justifications for why it’s okay for this to happen again to a community grieving ONE DAY after the event is entirely inappropriate and borders on bullying. I doubt I’m the only one who feels this way. Please be better and use better judgement.
WyoBronco
My Boys! Quick exercise on the QB question. Let’s use Zac’s guy for this exercise. All things the same and from what we know about each Qb, does Mac Jones get you anymore wins last year? Possibly a couple more on decision making and turnovers alone? I know college doesn’t compare to NFL but let’s just project. Honestly that’s what we are still doing with Drew. Have great weekend!!
DTL
Hey guys,
Get on the hype train.
Kyle Pitts, Kyle Pitts, Kyle Pitts!!!
Drew for QB
Hey guys what’s you think has the higher chance of the broncos making the playoffs broncos trade up to two and draft Zach wilson but give up 2 firsts (this years and next years) Tim Patrick, and Bradley Chubb, Staying at 9 and drafting Mac Jones, or rolling with Drew
