My Peoples!
I voted on Mases pole to have the Broncos make the playoffs and retain most of the staff.
I think fans voting for missing the playoffs and having the staff fired feel that if Denver were to makes the playoffs and even win a game, George Paton is more likely to extend Teddy and retain Shurmur.
I think the feeling is, If Denver makes the Playoffs, Teddy and Shurmur stay and Paton does not make a push for a Wilson or Rodgers.
Love Yall!

What’s up guys ! I find it awesome you guys are talking about CSU basketball. One of my closest friends plays there and his name is John tonje ! They’re 10-0 and looking good I hope they get far in the tournament this year. Anyways can Madden give Justin Simmons his superstar ability already ? Sheeesh !

Hey guys, you got me in the preseason but this is my first comment. You keep me connected to the Bronco community even though I’m down in FloriBama.
I don’t like the negative vibes coming out of Bronco country twitter! We are sounding like super entitled fans who are so negative they would throw snowballs at Santa. We are playing meaningful games in December and in the hunt for a wild card spot! Let’s be happy about it! As we can see from Melvin, the team reads social media and isn’t feeling the love so let’s recognize their great play last week and show we got their back and are excited for this final four game stretch! I admit I didn’t want to get my hopes up last week after getting hyped from the initial win streak followed by losses and the cowboys/eagles rollercoaster, but I’m ready go all in on making the playoffs! Let’s gooooo!
I am glad we are rolling with Steady Teddy because I don’t think we would be where we are without him. I would have liked Lock to blossom and turn into a franchise QB because he would have been our guy for years to come. I wasn’t hot on Teddy because if he was a franchise QB he wouldn’t be on his fifth team, I do appreciate teddys stability and management of the offense, especially as we finally learn to use the run. Next year I would prefer Russ or Rodgers to take us to the next level, but if that doesn’t work out I would be happy to keep him at the right price while we draft and develop someone.
BTW, I laughed out loud at Zac’s bachelor rose ceremony comment from Monday’s pod. Dude has definitely been bringing the spicier takes! Thanks all for the great content and getting me through my commute!

What’s up guys! A few podcast ago you guys talked about quarterback options for next year and you guys were too quick to dismiss Kirk Cousins. Obviously given the option you take Russ or Rodgers but I will add Kirk right after those guys. Your main point was that he is not worth the amount you would have to pay him. Next year his salary cap is 45 million but the Vikings probably would incur 10 million. So 35 million for a quarterback who is top 10 in tds, passer rating, qbr and a 66.9% completion percentage. Not to mention only throwing 5 ints and only 18 sacks taken. Also having two receivers who have more yards than all of your receivers and each receiver has more tds than all of the broncos receivers combined. Kirk also had top 10 numbers last season too. You guys were willing to trade for Stafford last season but Cousins has better td %, and int% throughout their career. People gave stafford the “he played for the lions” excuse but Kirk situation isn’t much better. You would much rather have Wilson or Rodgers but this team is a guaranteed playoff team with Kirk as long as fangio can bring an average defense.

Hey guys,
The game this week feels enormous. I’m curious to get all of your thoughts on how you would like to see the season play out should we lose against the Bengals?
10-7 and the playoffs is of course still possible if we lose, but would seem highly unlikely.
I’m torn. I’d love us to have a winning record, and I’m not totally against Vic coming back. However, I would like to see Shurmur gone, and I would like a higher draft pick in case we can’t pull off a Wilson / Rodgers trade. If we finish 7-10 then I think we’re picking around 12th and hopefully in a good position to take Kenny Pickett.
So, what say you? If we lose this Sunday are you onboard the lose out train?
Cheers
Charlie

Have to get this off my chest. 1. This is the first time we have been talking playoffs past Sept since 2016. 2. You won’t get a quality vet QB without having signed talented wrs. 3. Teddy is doing exactly what we hoped, having us in playoff contention and finally having a winning culture in the locker room, look at Tebow. 4. Every QB throws short of the sticks on 3rd down when down field is cover, that’s why the other guys are paid to make a play after the catch. It would be fine if Fant had a few broken tackles this season. I’m almost to the point where I want to shut the pod off once the guys get to ready the comments, it’s so negative when we are FINALLY above .500 in Dec. You don’t get to the top of the mountain without putting the work in

Sorry this is long but I just had to share what happened to me today. I’ve been really emotional over DT so I had to share but a little back story. December 2019 my girlfriend, her daughter, and I made care packages to hand out to the less fortunate without homes in our area. I wanted to extend it beyond the holidays but then covid hit and I feared I would spread it around and so we put a pause. This year we promised to start again. That leads us to today. I found some paper bags I had from 2019 and I had the thought to this year honor DT by putting an 88 on each bag. So I wrote just 1 to see how it looked. Of course it was beautiful and made me tear up. So then I head out to the store to buy supplies for care packages…. Snacks, socks, sandwich materials etc. As I get to a green light at an intersection something tells me to LOOK OUT! I slam on my brakes as a huge SUV comes flying through its red light. He slams his brakes and stops. we are feet from each other. The T-bone collision would have been into my driver’s side door.
I proceeded to the store unscathed and got my supplies. I got home and saw the 88 I had written earlier waiting for me, and I broke down in tears.
Something or someone told me to look out so I could continue on to carry out my mission. Every bag I give out while have an 88.
I didn’t want to share this because I don’t pat myself on the back. None of this will be on social media. No one knows my girlfriend and I do this except us and now DNVR. It’s a PSA to watch your green lights. It’s a reminder to pay it forward this holiday season, and when you do you can do it to honor the memory of a great man like DT.
At the Chargers game Jan 2 I will be wearing my DT shirt for the last time and then retiring it. Really wish I had bought a jersey back in the day because I can’t find any now.
Merry Christmas DNVR.
