FIRST!!! lol what’s up guys?

What new rules are the owners eyeballing for the new league year?
I’ve read a few stories about allowing every play to be reviewed, is that feasible while trying to keep the games structured to a decent timeframe?

If Lock had the stats that the mustache did, the fans would be crazed. Why are folks so cool on Minshew?

So, curious how you rank potential Hedge QB’s that there is a realistic chance of landing in Denver. Here is my list.

1. Gardner Minshew
2. Jamies Winston
3. Marcus Mariota
4. Mitchell Trubisky
5. Sam Darnold
6. Ryan Fitzpatrick
7. Tyrod Taylor
8. Andy Dalton

Have very little interest past 6th. Minshew is to me the best option. Low salary, young and very similar talents to Drew and they could have a competition to see who wins the job.

MY BOYS!
I hope y’all are doing great. I have a couple quick questions for you guys today.
The first question is, how do we find the polls that you mentioned yesterday? Are you able to access them from the app?
The second is just something that I’m confused about. Do you guys have any idea why the Broncos seem to not love Philip Lindsay? I think I speak for the vast majority of Broncos Country when I saw we all love Phil, do the Broncos not seem to love him because he doesn’t fit in well with Pat’s offense? I don’t know, I’ve just always been confused on this and wanted to get y’all’s opinions. Thanks for everything!
Much love,
Sebastian

Hey guys !
So I heard Ryan Ollaharoan basically deem we should gut the roster of everyone except Justin simmons and maybe shelby GEESH (von included …which btw sounds like we’re gonna cut von from multiple sources ) but anyways …. He said this defense is has to get their hands on more balls and they gotta get corners capable of doing so

My question is …. Is that indicative of the corners or the lack of cover lbs we have that’s the chink in the armour of this defense in my my opinion

The corners are supposed to sit in their zones not get beat deep make tackles underneath but our lbs can’t cover inorder for corners to jump routes and pick things off you think that’s what’s lacking from our take aways or do you put it on the defense as a whole ?

Hooroo cobbas, how’s ya bum for grubs?

Who wants to organise a DNVR Downunder bar crawl?

What ever happened to Ryan and Zac doing a world tour? Surely we can get this thing in flight for 2022? Mase the same throng of broncos fans I saw surround you at the tailgate at Mile High will be awaiting you at Brisbane airport (note they’re very unlikely to be the same people; in fact it’ll be mostly different people – who are most probably customs officers).

I say these things because it seems we have a disproportionate representation of Australians and kiwis (big vomit) here in the comments.

Given your lack of presence here in our great sun burned land, In our honour – please say (and yes it’s G rated, you *beeping* legends;

“Alright boys, I’ll see you down at the “billabong” where I’m sure you’ll be busy as a one armed brick layer in Baghdad with a couple of “China plates” havin a “chin wag” about some “bird” named Cheryl from “Goondawindi” – yeh all right then hooroo cobba no worries”

What did (the reader) just say? Best guess? (Hint – you can translate almost all of that into an pretty normal inoffensive sentence).

Anyway Football now

I am determined to do this assessment on active player cap value (I.e the value of the team on the field) performance . Where can I get historical game day player information and the corresponding cap information? I.e Broncos had $2,000,000 in active players against a $196,000,000 adjusted cap after injuries to;
A Aardvarck
Through
Zzeezee Zebra

While I’m at it – any other requests for a data view on something? What are some data insights you’ve always wanted to see, but have never gone and built?

Good Morning to ya gents!! I’ve loved seeing the response to the cold temperatures over the past week from Denverites! Living in Edmonton, I always get a kick out of people experiencing a bit of what we go through each and every winter where it’s not uncommon to have temperatures of -20 all the way down to -40 (Fahrenheit AND Celsius). The sunshine and beautiful summers here make it worth it but the winters here are a “character building experience”.

Back to football, yesterday Ben Allbright and Ryan Edwards addressed the rumors from the Senior Bowl that the playbook was “dumbed down” for Drew Lock. Apparently, the playbook was pared back not just for Lock (who is a slow learner) but another player as well who was struggling to grasp the complex verbiage heavy offense. Why is it that the Broncos insist on running these complex variants of the West Coast Offense, particularly with such a young offense? Is this not an issue we’ve had in Denver for years and a contributing factor to Scangarello’s firing? I’m starting to see a scenario where the firing of Scangs and hiring of Shurmur may be the move that ultimately costs Vic Fangio his job if the offense doesn’t show significant improvement next season. If things don’t work out with this staff, hopefully Paton has his eye on guys that can better bridge the X’s and O’s gap from college to pro for our young guys.

MY BOYS! If the Broncos allocate significant sums to re-signing Justin Simmons and Shelby Harris, that would foreseeably leave significantly less to sign a veteran cornerback. What do you think it would cost the Broncos to sign Mackensie Alexander? Obviously, George Paton is very familiar with Alexander seeing that he was a Minnesota Viking second round draft pick in 2016. He signed a one-year, $4 million deal with Cincinnati in 2020. Do you think a two-year deal worth around $10 million total, with $5 million guaranteed is feasible?

Paton has some difficult decisions ahead in the coming days and weeks. In light of that, I leave you with a quote by George S. Paton, the well-known U.S. Army General, who said, “A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.” Have a wonderful Wednesday. DNVRMY SALUTE!

Looking back on yesterday’s discussion about guys who could benefit from a fresh start in light of the rumor-mill cranking about the Bronco’s not picking up Von’s option-is he somebody who could actually benefit from a fresh start? Over the last few years it just feels like Von has been increasingly frustrated, which I get-too much losing, injury, and so on. It is pretty reminiscent of CHJ last season.

Don’t get me wrong, I hate the idea of seeing Von anywhere else, and I do believe he has some good football left in him. I hope we can negotiate an extension and keep Von here, but my gut tells me the chances are 50/50 at best. At the very least, I hope he goes out of the division if he does leave.

What’s up guys! What are some realistic expectations for the offensive line next season? Does Bolles keep up the level of play? Does Risner continue to improve after an up and down sophomore season? Does Cushenberry become the long term answer at center? Does Muti see more playing time? Can Glasgow and his cap-hit get launched into the sun? Does Ju’Waun James remember how to play football!? All joking aside I’m pretty optimistic that the overall play will continue to trend upwards, but there certainly are some questions and I’d love to hear your thoughts!

I think I’ll translate Lovethunderdownunder’s post in stages. Makes it more fun.

Today’s lesson: Aussies are lazy as all hell. Abbreviate things anytime we can. Chin Wag = a “Podcast” if I push the limits, blokes and birds have a chat about intense chat about something they love.

You were right. A woman, can be a Sheila, a bird and RK picked up on that. Billabong in a lake.

More translations to come.

Now “Stache” talk. RK, love ya mate, but Sam Darnold as #1 on that list??? IMO, he’s Drew Lock #2. Completion percentage not good. TD/INT ratio not good. We need someone to steady the ship, not repeat the roller coaster. We all see thinks through our eyes, but he’s proven the least if you look at his college production and interception problems and how that carried over. I’m hoping that you put him at #1 as you really want our Drew to succeed.

Minshew has better numbers than just about all on the list, playing for a crap team and COSTS the least. He’s also less likely to be a slap in the face to Drew. If we don’t get Watson or similar, then he’s my guy.

Bring some Breck Brews for you visit down under and the pub crawl will be epic.
