Hey guys! You may have already discussed this on the next pod, but what are your thoughts on the reports from Tony Pauline of Pro Football Network that the Broncos are down on Drew Lock and had to “dummy” the playbook down in order for him to have any success towards the end of the year? If true, I’m not sure how you could feel good about going forward with Drew.

Hey guys! What would be the offset of the salary cap over the next two years if the Broncos traded Bradley Chubb, 2-1’s and 2-2nd round picks to the Texans for Deshaun Watson? Let’s assume the Broncos or Texans would likely pick up Chubb’s 5th year option next season.

Let say a qb slips to 9 – and the broncos decide to draft a ball chucker, would you rather Lance/Jones/Fields be the one that slides into the safety of our orange and blue bosom?

MY BOYS!
I hope you gusy are doing great. I genuinely feel terrible for fans of Houston sports. The Texans are arguably the sorriest franchise in the NFL right now, the Astros had the whole cheating scandal last year now everybody hates them, and the Rockets just lost one of the most talented scorers we’ve ever seen in the NBA. This leads me into my question for today. I was thinking of a completely hypothetical situation, that all the decent Texans players hold out until they are released or traded. Do you in any way think that is possible? Has anything like that in the history of the NFL? I don’t know, I just wouldn’t want to be in Houston at all. I don’t think this situation is possible, but it’s an interesting conversation. TO close out this comment, I wanted to say rest in peace Vincent Jackson. A great football player and an even better person. Truly a tragedy. Thoughts and prayers to his family. Thanks for everything.
Much love,
Sebastian

Fellas,

Let’s get down to brass tacks. The Broncos will most likely not be a super bowl contender until the team can find some championship leadership. The team has yet to replace the leadership that left when Manning and Were retired. Drew Lock may turn out to have franchise skills but does he have the leadership to go along with it? To me Chubb and Simmons should be those guys on defense, but aren’t on Ware’s level.

How say you?

Hey guys! What do you think about Micah Parsons as a fit for Denver and what Fangio likes to do? I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about him in terms of how he projects to the Broncos. I personally don’t see any reason why he wouldn’t be a target. Especially since Paton helped build one of the best LB rooms in the league while he was in Minnesota! Would love to hear your thoughts!

My boys!

Scenario time for you gents. How would you rank these options?

1. Trade up to #7 to secure Fields or Lance.

2. Sit at #9 and pick Mac Jones.

3. Give the Jets the #9 pick and a third round pick in exchange for Darnold and the jets #23 pick.

4. Give the Jets your 2021, 2022 and 2023 first round picks for their #2 pick. Take Zach Wilson.

Cheers guys.

Hey guys ! I guess we’re going to have to agree to disagree lol …. I am willing to give up premium picks for 3 years but I’d how good you think this roster is if we have to give up our young core to get Watson I’m not on board I can’t do that I can’t ……

I heard an interview with Ian Rapport and he stressed how apt George Paton was and prepared to be a GM and he stressed his strengths were #1 SCOUTING TALENT #2 TRADING ..he conducted all trades that minnesota did every last one …. So I’m going to concede to Paton if something becomes to rich I’m ok with Paton walking away

Lastly I’m hoping for what John McClain has said plays out Texans play hardball.watson doesn’t show up until week 8 to have an acrued year because in a season drew won’t be Watson but he could be trending well as will tua etc people will feel better walking away from Watson within a year or Kno that they must go all in on him

But for me I just can not give up young core of talent and premium draft picks for the next 3 years I just don’t see how that’s worth it ….you guys keep saying he’s your guy for the next 10 years but dude if we can’t win for the first 4 of that 5 year contract ? He’s gone ! Idk ??‍♂️

Morning boys,

What do you fellas make of the pictures of Deshaun hanging out with some Dolphins players popped up in the last couple of days?

I also saw a story that stated that Jerry Jones said Russel Wilson was interested in becoming a Cowboy. Could be smoke but what do you all make of it all?

Morning Everyone!

Between all the talk of Denver reaching out to Detroit, the rumors that we may be a landing spot for Deshaun, players trying to court Watson, and the recent interviews from people like Jerry Jeudy I’ve been thinking, what is this going to do to Lock if one of these plans doesn’t pan out? Stafford already has a home, Houston has every right to hang onto Watson if they so choose, and our QB just saw both the front office and coach, and now some of his teammates openly expressing their desire to find a new QB. In the likely possibility we don’t find ourselves with Watson, all the top QBs are gone by pick 9, and Drew is our incumbent starter how do we expect this to play out come training camp. Do we really think we are going to get the best out of Drew this year given the lack of support he is seeing?

I know there is a chance he can pull an Aaron Rodgers and ball out to shut the haters up, but coming off what could easily be considered a down year it doesn’t seem likely that is the case. I’m just wondering if the organization as a whole making him feel unwelcome may be relegating us to another bad year in 2021. Thoughts?

MY BOYS! What are your thoughts on the Broncos kicking the tires on Kawann Short once the Panthers release him as reported by Adam Schefter today, if for whatever reason they can’t or don’t bring back Shelby Harris? Or is Short on the wrong side of 30, now that he’s 32? Have a tremendous Tuesday. DNVRMY SALUTE!

My Peoples.

I think Dak is a great option. He has above a 2/1 TD/INT ratio, he is a threat in the red zone.

Dak is underrated in my opinion and its because he is a Cowboy. I know that seems a bit backwards. He has all the expectations in the world because of where he plays and its not fair to him since the Cowboys havent been “relevant” since the 90s.

Dak comes to Denver, we win at least 10 games.
