New member here! You got me! Where do we go from here? I don’t enjoy watching this season so your great content is the highlight of Broncos anything now. Where do we go from here? I like Teddy but he’s not the answer. I think Lock sucks so I don’t want to see him (or hear it from the Stans). I want Vic gone but not mid season. I just want this to be over with. Lets hire Todd Bowles and draft Carson Strong and get on with it.

I’d also trade for Wilson but IDK why he’d want to come here.

I know people are upset about Teddy and the video looks rough, but I have been and must continue to stay with my feelings about the matter of the play, I NEVER want my QB attempting to make a play following a turnover. I’d rather they just head straight to the sideline.

Hello folks, been a while. Can we talk real quick about how ridiculously good Paxton’s first draft has been? Six of the 9 (not counting Kary Vincent) have already gotten solid playing time and have performed very well. I think the biggest bust so far is sixth rounder Seth Williams, which is crazy. I have the utmost confidence in Paton

Fellas! While watching the game it honestly felt like the broncos were going to pull it off, up until the play. I was never on board the teddy train as I imagined this exact scenario playing out. A middling team that’s up and down ending up with no progress to a solution and simply a forgettable season. I threw my support behind teddy and enjoyed competent football which was nice. However, after that excuse of an attempted tackle, I’m out on teddy. He quit on his team, quit on the fans, and quit on his future in Denver. How does he have any credibility in that locker room? I guess it’s back to washed up veteran shopping aisle for us in the offseason. Anyway just my 2 cents, cheers to you guys and my DNVR fam. Love a sad fan

I have not missed a Broncos game in over 20 years. I love this team and have been a diehard my entire life. But if we roll out with Teddy again, I think I’m going to break my streak. From my understanding, Teddy is a great guy off the field. That’s fine, I wish him the best; but, I cannot stand him as the Broncos QB. He can’t hit a target 5 yards beyond the LOS with any consistency and refuses to take any chances. His numbers will make him look good on paper, but no one can seriously tell me he has won a game for this team. I don’t give a **** if he completes 6 yard passes on 3rd and 10 and finishes the game with 75% completion. Looks great, not helpful. Is it a coincidence that we are abysmal on 3rd down/RZ conversions? Nope, he’s been that way his entire career. And now he’s making business decisions as a captain? Absolutely no room for that BS. Manning always gave a legitimate effort in those situations, even after 4 neck surgeries. That is real leadership. Put in anyone else – Rypien, Lock, a free agent, I don’t care. I’m done watching Teddy in a Broncos uniform. On a positive note, love y’all and I’ll remain a loyal listener for as long as y’all are around.

I’m so disgusted it’s hard to even put words to this. But this is current Broncos football – should anyone be surprised?
I miss the days of Wade’s ATTACKING style defense. He didn’t sit back and let the offense dictate. Vic’s read and react defense is so weak – nothing scary about it whatsoever. It only works when he has a perfect game plan and the other team makes it’s own mistakes. We don’t force shit. We don’t dictate shit. This defense has no teeth and it’s laughable to hear us mentioned as a defensive team.
Two very easy questions – Can anyone really see a Vic Fangio led team EVER hoisting a Lombardi trophy? Can anyone really see a Teddy Bridgewater led team EVER hoisting a Lombardi trophy?
George Paton – we are counting on you.

hey guys,

i’m clearly in the minority here but teddy not tackling slay didn’t really upset me, especially when you see someone like baker mayfield mess up his shoulder on an INT return.

it’s like when people took offense to sutton not tackling someone on an int earlier this season when he hurt his knee doing the same thing last year.

i know peyton manning made that tackle once, but i agree with orangeblue4life below. i don’t really want my starting QB making that tackle, especially when the usual backup wasn’t available to play in the game if teddy got hurt

All 22, spoke loudly on “the play”. Gordon, Albert O, Saubert and Patrick where the only ones really putting in an effort. Patrick was on the wrong side, but still tried. Fant also on wrong side, just shut down when Slay went other way. O line were the fat guys, so give them a break. If Teddy slows him down a bit, maybe T. Patrick could have made a play. He came from wrong side and gave it his all, but needed a speed bump to Slay to have a chance.

Fact is, receivers are open, but Teddy doesn’t take a chance unless they are wide open. So many check downs. Not calling for Drew, as he’s not the answer, but this coaching staff is more concerned with keeping their jobs than building a champion. We pulled a shocker against Dallas, as they were flat and have a soft defence. Sadly, we’ll probably win 7 games messing up the draft picks and making the Broncos look like a train wreck again.

Howdy Gents,

I was on board with Teddy until the piss poor effort then heaving the ball out of the end zone on 4th. I’m out on him and ready to move on, no place for that effort. Sutton and Fant effort levels are getting close to that level. If you hear Drew Lock chants start from the end zone vs the Lions, it was probably me. We need someone with some heart and fire.

Thanks for the pod as always

I am going to go out on a limb that Vic Fangio may be here next season. Something that the broncos have not had since 2015 is consistency. They have been mixing and matching QB’s and coaches since then. I think that if the Broncos ARE playing meaningful games in December then We will see Vic again next year. I think this is all on Paton to keep the consistency here like the Vikings did with Mike Zimmer. What say you?

As we enter the bye week I’m trying to take the long view. I’m trying to put Teddy “No Tackle” behind me. Unfortunately the long view isn’t much better right now.

Until we get new ownership, this team is on hold. If you’re Paton, it makes all the sense in the world to build towards big moves in 2023. The new ownership will be settled in by that point and you can set a new direction. 2022 will be that rebuild season everybody’s seemed so excited for.

We’ll have the same coaching staff and our quarterback room will be Lock plus some veteran. We’re going to cut costs and clear out the old contracts as we started to do with Von Miller. We’re probably going to be a worse team next season which is all the better for that 2023 draft move.

2023 should be a lot more fun, but it’s going to be a painful wait.

My Boys! Ya’ll remember when John Fox ran a fun exciting offense to watch? That was neat.

For real though, this team is so painful to watch – glad I got to see the fluke win in Dallas. You guys are the bright spot during these endless seasons of suck. Keep on being you – love you guys.

Cheers,,

My Boys!

So the more and more I think about it I feel like Doug Pederson would be the best hire for this team.

Hypothetically if we can convince him to come to Denver how would you feel about a Nick Foles and Kenny Pickett QB room?
