MY BOYS! I heard you mention this recently but I believe Aqib Talib would be an amazing guest on your next Three Ring Circus. He was of course in the news recently due to the Kareem Jackson comments regarding Watson’s alleged desire to play for Denver. I didn’t listen to the full conversation between those two, but I’m curious if they address the legal situation ongoing at all. I imagine not, but curious if it’s something Talib would comment on.

My question for you though is this – In light of the recent withdrawal of tennis champion Naomi Osaka from the French Open, do you believe that addressing the media should be mandatory for athletes? It’s a tough question as I know it directly impacts your industry. But I have personally always found it to be obvious when a player does not want to speak with the media after a game/practice/etc., or simply does not feel comfortable doing so in that format. At least for myself, I tend to gain the most from the press conferences where the player seems very willing and interested in speaking with media members. More so, a podcast format with a player guest can produce a fantastic interview. It even made me see Melvin Gordon in a whole new light. With regards to awareness of mental illness as well as general quality of responses in press conferences, do you think this should continue to be mandatory? What are other platforms that you think can offer the best results (podcasts/ player interviews at practices/locker room access/etc.)?
