Interesting debate you guys had about Sean Payton’s realistic inner expectations for this coming season. I understand where Zac is coming from but 1000% side with Henry here. I’m sure you guys know by being around professional athletes and coaches on a daily basis that these guys are ultra competitive, have been proving people wrong their entire lives, and for the most part are pretty narcissistic. Especially when you are someone like Sean Payton who has already built a career that can stand with the all time greats. Someone like that doesn’t go to work thinking, “ah well. I’ll try my hardest but I really can’t see us beating the Chiefs this season. I’m ok with third place in the division.” Hell no. He absolutely believes that he can lead the team to a AFC West title this year, regardless of what other people think. Anyways, get some rest this weekend from the long and glorious week.
