The Broncos wasted our time with Kevin Hogan at #2 QB for most of camp last year, they really shouldn’t do that with Tim Patrick and DeSean over Jeudy this year.

New subscriber here! I’ve been freeloading all offseason, but my excitement was so high for the first day of camp, let alone the actual season, that I realized I’m going to need the extra content. Go ahead and say it: you got me. I’m a lifelong Kansan and live on the sunflower side of KC, holding down the fort in enemy territory with Missouri Bronco. Quick comment: the way you guys talk about Lock reminds me of the way the Chiefs talked about Mahomes before he broke out. Obviously I’m not expecting that level of breakout, but hearing the similarities gives me an awful lot of hope. DNVR salute!

MY BOYS! Do we know, or can one of you ask when coaches are made available to the media, if the Broncos’ playbooks on defense and offense been completely installed yet? Any idea what the installation process has been like in the abnormal offseason of virtual meetings and this training camp compared to previous seasons, where playbooks are fully installed by the end of OTAs? As always, thank you for the great Broncos coverage. DNVRMY SALUTE!

How does AJ Bouye look as the #1? I have not heard a lot about him from the first day of camp.

If there are no crowds in the stands at games, do you think it will impact player celebrations of big plays? Will Von still dance after every sack? Will the Seahawks WRs still have choreographed touchdown celebrations? Or would a lack of crowd response reduce the adrenaline rush of making a big play in that moment?

I am finally able to support and subscribe to one of my favorite Podcast with My Boyssss! at The DNVR! This is my first comment so let me start by saying thank y’all for everything you do! And I truly appreciate your patience with this long comment. I have been a Broncos fan for as long as I can remember, This is just part of the reasoning and only a story my true Broncos fans would understand .
My Step Father, Captain James Halen the Incredible man who helped raise me was a Captain for United Airlines for 36 years he retired in 1993 before that he was a fighter Jet pilot for the Marines and landed Jets on Aircraft Carriers in the Ocean during the Korean War. He was the absolute best pilot United had when he retired. Because of his amazing hard work for the last 4 years of his flight career all he did was fly professional Sports Teams like the Yankees ,Red Sox, lakers and of course The Denver Broncos a lot because United’s main hub was in Denver. His all time favorite player of any team was Mr Elway one flight he decided he desperately needed to get an autograph for my brother and I. So mid flight he leaves the cockpit and walks back to John Freakin Elway and says
Mr Elway I am beyond a huge fan and also the Captain of this flight I have ever intentions of getting and landing safe at our destination but in order to do that I was truly hoping you would sign this poster to my sons. John looks at my Father and without hesitation says what are the boys names. The poster still proudly sits in the same spot it’s been for over 20 years. My step Father found himself a couple weeks later flying them again to another game. As he greeted the players on the plane Elway stopped reaching into his bag he pulled out a football signed by everyone on the team he looks at my father and says
Will this keep you in the Cockpit for the entire flight! I’m not a huge fan of flying! Truly a classy act!
And after all of this My Brother some how became a Chiefs Fan story for another day!
You guys bring a smile to my face and thoughts to my brain and I truly appreciate it! Because I seem to be reminiscing about my past let me ask you Guys in the last 20 years who is the guy who Denver let walk or get traded that should have Stayed a Bronco? Mine probably Elvis D!!
We Appreciate y’all and Go Broncos!

Another new sub here. Been listening to the pod for awhile and missed Mase’s writing, after following him from the old place, so I thought I would send some support and appreciation back. So here’s some love from down in the Love Star State.

A message of hope when it comes to the Chiefs future cap situation. Since the Salary cap started there have only been 4 teams win a super bowl paying a single player more than 11% of the cap and none have won paying a single player more than 13.1% of the cap. Next year, based on a $175 million cap, the chiefs have 4 players making more than 11%, two of which account for over 14%….these backloaded contracts will come back to bite the Chiefs in the rear end and open the door for the rest of the division to catch up. Remember, the Rams were praised for the signings of Goff, Donald and Gurley….where are they now? You can’t BUY a dynasty in the NFL, and that is exactly what the chiefs are trying to do. Hang in there Broncos Country, we are headed in the right direction!!

Hey boys,

I gotta say after watching Melvin Gordon’s interview with Denver media today I’m really starting to like this guy. He says all the right things and seems to be very professional. I think Melvins power and thus his tackle breaking ability will earn him a lot of touches especially in the red zone and late in games to move the chains and keep the clock ticking.

My not so Hot take is Melvin gets more touches this season.

Also, to hear him say Drew is fiery and is a perfectionist should make everyone feel awesome because this quality is what makes all great athletes great. Especially QB where there is such little room for error.

That’s all,
