The Denver Broncos held their rookie minicamp over the weekend. Sean Payton and George Paton’s five draft picks—Marvin Mims, Drew Sanders, Riley Moss, JL Skinner and Alex Forsyth—were all in attendance and on the field for practice. Payton and all of the rookies spoke after practice as well to break down the rookie class, along with the Broncos signing Kareem Jackson, how the offseason program is going and much more. But most importantly, Payton discussed the shocking news about Javonte Williams’ recovery from knee surgery.

Boys! I have receipts, Zac! YouTube time stamp of 43:16 during the POD discussing the Broncos dream schedule, Zac says quote “Let’s go Jets.” End quote. Context is irrelevant.
I understand that this is yet again another offensive system, but how far into training camp until we start to get concerned if Russ just looks “meh” again this year? I really hope he can turn it around, but Coach Payton’s continued indifference towards Russ really makes me pessimistic. It could also be possible he was talking about Russ in regards to working at Walmart. I have seen that “We are Walmart” meme enough with Russ’s face I can totally see him hyping shoppers up as they enter.

It was just a schedule release, so how come I’m now super pumped up for September, daydreaming about the gameday vibes and just getting absolutely hype all of a sudden?
