I think they will keep George. He is great with personnel. He chose Surtain and ignored the qb hype of the draft that year.

Penner said that the coach they choose would be a leader first over x’s and o’s. Be able to teach discipline and hold the team to accountability. Seems to me that the people they have now in place in the ownership group have the experience to find that type of coach. Paton drafted the players here, and he’s been successful at it. It would be a waste to fire him because of the Wilson trade, when he’s been mostly successful otherwise.

Keep Paton and hire a guy who complements Paton’s style of drafting.

We have zero reason not to trust this ownership group, until they prove otherwise. We have begged for an owner for a decade, someone to point us in the right directions, one that leads to success. Well we finally have an owner(s). I’m rooting for their sucess. I have high hopes they can hire someone who can fix this mess we are in. Gonna take a few years unless we can get improved play from Russ next season.

Maybe this time Condoleezza Rice will actually find a WMD!

OK Guys-I have come with answers. What happened Sunday? Pick the best excuse.

1-Nickelodeon informs the NFL Sunday morning that the slime machine for the Broncos endzone not working, so with all the slime ordered for the game the NFL script writers call an audible and call for the Rams to score on every drive.

2-After reports that Hackett may be kept around because players are still playing hard for him the last 2 weeks, the players decide to take actions into their own hands and show that they did quit on Hackett as a Christmas Present for Broncos fans 2023.

3-McVay went into his deep memory of his 5 seasons with Evero and is able to envision the entire Broncos gameplan from snippets of talks in the past with Evero. With this information in hand, McVay puts together the perfect game plan against the Broncos.

On a side note, lets see how smart you guys are. What does Steve Tensi and Russell Wilson have in common?

(They were both traded to the Broncos for 2 first round picks)

Hey guys, been a bit since I’ve commented. But I first off want to say I’m excited to start working with DNVR on some events! If you’re free January 21st (DNVR Fam) the Alzheimer’s Association will be at the DNVR Bar for the Colorado Avalanche’s Watch Party. We can’t wait to connect with y’all and will have some potential prizes available. More to come as we beef up these plans. Here’s my Broncos crazy conspiracy theories I have for the season. First, my crazy theory is that behind closed doors for both Seattle and Russ to push this deal through was Russ will have an awful season to help Seattle draft in the top 10 and in return Russ will play lights out the next season to win “Comeback Player of the Year” by a mile. My other crazy theory mixed in with this, is that Wilson deep down did not like Hackett and the West Coast Offense he brought, so to force him out he decided to have an awful season to force him out and get the coaching system he prefers. Again, these are all crazy theories and it’s more realistic that Russ just can’t play well in the system and is continuing to decline while Hackett was just not ready to be coach. But how real do you think these crazy theories can be? Either way hoping that we get this Franchise fixed up sooner rather than later. Looking forward to the Watch Party with y’all too!
