Zac, to answer your question … I mark the middle of every work day with a homemade sando. I can only withstand 7 hours in a too-cold, air-conditioned, windowless office with the promise of my daily creation awaiting me. And when I say middle, I lie – I often don’t make it past the end of your live pods before delving into my lunch box to consume my meaty desire. Zac, you are right, a perfect Reuben is the zenith, but hard to find(The key being, I believe, a couple of slices of artisanal, dark rye laden with caraway, a heaping wealth of fresh kraut (pickled, not canned), and of course an inch and a half of top-notch pastrami). My fix of late, however, has been a homemade muffuletta style sandy – Capers, Mayo, Mustard, Olives, Pastrami, Provelone and a generous smattering of olive-oil soaked, white, Spanish Anchovies – and don’t forget the salt and pepper. I leave it to marinate at room temp on my desk until It taunts me with its fragrance and wafts notes of fish and brine over the forlorn letters of my institutional keyboard. The DNVR pod and this daily treat is often my only corporeal joy during the workday.

How are ya now?
I’m not excited about any Rodgers talk. I’m just not. I need a Broncos homegrown quarterback. I want to see Lock take control of his offense in the second year of his system.
Everyone on the offense knows where to be now and there should be comfort in it, without much feeling or thinking through their progressions. So, what does a successful 2021 look like for Drew Lock and the weapons around him?

Hey kings!
Saw a list of the top 10 highest paid athletes, and Dak was number 4! Crazy to me.
Anyway, it got me thinking- what are NFL franchises more obsessed with- winning a championship, or having a QB with the potential to win one. I personally believe the latter, mainly because of the same thing we talked about with the draft. It’s potential. Knowing your team always has the possibility with a QB I think will always rank higher than building up a team, just because it’s sexy and makes you relevant. That’s one thing that still makes me excited for George Paton. He is more interested in building a championship roster rather than just being relevant with a QB. Anyway, thanks for letting me ramble.
