RK FOR THE WIN!!! Nailed my Ray Lewis trivia as soon as Mase brought up Harbaugh as a QB/coach, sorry for making the wording so tricky I was trying to avoid giving it away by saying the last game was a super bowl. The only other clue I could think of was to say that the player in question had hobbies that included yelling loudly on the sideline and taking part in true crime documentaries……too soon?!

I do have a real football question for you today, after doing a little research about offensive lines around the league I couldn’t find stats that show O-lines ranked by draft capital. Do you guys know if there are any teams with more draft stock in their O-line than us? We have to be near the top, with two first rounders at tackle, and two thirds and a second rounder on the interior.

I’m going to let myself be optimistic about our O-line, Zac nailed it yesterday when he pointed out our strength is on the interior, which is a bit ironic since the first rounders are at tackle, but I think our tackles will surprise us this year. I’m even going to give our man Gumballs a clean slate after he finished out the season strong, and when you pair that with today’s report floating around the interwebz that shows lock as having the longest average time to sack and lowest number of sacks as a percentage of drop backs I think Drew may be the tide we’ve been waiting for that raises all ships. Here’s to twelve more Super Bowls and here’s to you guys for making quarantine awesome, just lay off the donuts for me, I’ve already postponed my 2020 summer body to 2021, lets not make it any worse!

My Boys! Happy Thursday. Crack a Breck Brew and dance all over the front lawn until the neighbor attacks you with a vacuum hose because you drunkenly walked into the wrong house!

Let’s get right to it guys:

Mase, I’m always confident! Not because I’m always right, but because I love the Broncos so much. I will always ride with the boys and can always do some sort of mental gymnastics to envision how they will win.

I wanted to ask though, what is the greatest play you remember Peyton making as a Bronco. So many good throws. No cheating though! It is a single play, not a game. So can’t pick the Chargers comeback game or anything like that.

Personally I am going to pick a lesser known beauty from the 2015 season. Peyton hadn’t played well all season, but when he hit Emmanuel up the sideline for the long score it brought back a flash of all the great things that guy has done.

Thanks for reading and have a great one guys

Id have to say Peyton to run in the shootout against the cowbays. Watching Peyton Trot into the endzone while everyone was so focused on the play action was was absolutely insane. Sorry Damarcus Ware?

Hey guys,
I was anxiously waiting for that Adam Schefter tweet that the Broncos were able to resign Justin Simmons even though contract negotiations were at a halt. But no, that didn’t happen and now we might miss out on resigning a staple of our defense and a great Bronco. I agree with Ryan, why the heck do we wait so long to resign players?! Another player that I was expecting to get an extension was Phillip Lindsay. Since Elway because GM, our running backs have been Knowshon Moreno, Willis Mcgahee, Monte ball, Ronnie hillman, Cj Anderson and now you finally have a RB who was undrafted, who proved himself, whose made the pro bowl twice and is a back to back 1000 yard rusher and you’re not going to reward him when he deserves it?! We have a lot of big free agents coming up in the future..and it’s times like this where I doubt if we can resign Phil, Courtland or Bradley Chubb. We need to invest in our own players instead of over paying players in free agency. In Elway We Trust, and I will continue to..but things have to be done differently. Sorry for the long rant, thanks for all that you guys do, have a great and safe day

Hey guys, thanks for all that you do to keep the orange and blue entertained! So my question is what was your favorite broncos games youve attended, and why? Could be home or away. My two favs would have to be the return of Brock osweiler as a texan the year after we won the superbowl. Ill never forget the roaring boos the moment Brock stepped on the field, even just for pregame warm-ups. I had phenomenal seats behind the broncos bench, it was my first time in Colorado. And winning that game made it even better. The second would be back in 1998 when the broncos played the giants. My peewee football coach brought our entire team to the game. Now I know the result of the game wasn’t the best, but understand I was 6 at the time and living in ny im not afraid to admit that back then I was guilty of being a giants fan. But that was soon to change, my coach was neal schwartz, who was actually tarrell Davis’s agent. So after the game our coach setup a meeting with Tarrell where we were able to meet and greet! And to top it off Tarrell gifted our entire team playstation 1s! Needless to say, that was the day I became a broncos fan and I have been a diehard ever since. Im looking forward to your answers and thanks for listening to mine.

Hey guys,
I smoked a nice pork shoulder today for 15 hours, and on about my 23rd Miller lite of the night, Watching John Wayne’s 1965 banger of a movie “The Sons of Katie Elder”, headed up to South Dakota tomorrow for work, will be a nice day of hungover driving and getting caught up on my myriad of pods I listen to.

My question / thought is, do you guys think Noah Fant is kinda being over looked with the WR’s and other guys. I think he will be a top 5 TE in the league by years end. What do you guys think?

Go DNVR,

P.S. I am moving to Omaha in a couple weeks after I sell my house, but I will still sign off as Mark in Kansas. Because like Rk, I’m also not much of a fan of the KernHuskers.

Hey guys!

Mase, Simpsons Trivia for you: in Season 12 Episode 15, a civil rights leader appears before Homer. Who were they, who did they appear as, why did they appear, and how is it related to Denver Sports?

With the youth in this offense, and the concerns of how a young team can go off the rails, how do the players and coaches combat the inexperience, and what needs to happen to avoid the normal “growing pains”?

Yo Danimal, Before this game started, Kilmer said “48 minutes for the next 48 years of your life”. I say “f*** that”. All right? F*** that. Let’s go out there, and we play the next 24 minutes for the next 24 minutes, and we leave it all out on the field. We have the rest of our lives to be mediocre, but we have the opportunity to play like gods for the next half of football.

i’m sure y’all are aware of the mess that’s expected to come out of the washington nfl team by the end of the week but the alleged story featuring one of our former players is wild so i thought it was worth talking about on here;

kapri bibbs was on a live chat with jay gruden’s son (which is kinda weird after you hear the story) and said that he was benched because he and jay gruden were both hooking up with the receptionist at the team hq and gruden got jealous. because bibbs got benched, they replaced him with a guy called byron marshall and alex smith ended up suffering his injury because marshall missed his block.

bibbs ended up getting cut by washington a week later and at the time gruden said ‘i didnt release him because he’s a poor player’. i guess now we know why ?

shoutout nicki jhabvala for joining that team’s beat at such a…..spicy time too lol.

Hello again, gentlemen

I was listening to the Mina Kimes podcast yesterday and her and her guest were doing division previews and just so happened to be discussing the AFC West. They pretty much agreed that after the Chiefs, everything is a crap shoot.

While they were talking about Drew Lock though, Mina’s guest (Nate Tice) mentioned that it appeared to him, that when Drew Lock called a play, he would only know one route within that play and, therefore, would lock onto that route regardless of whether it was his 1st, 2nd, or 3rd read.

Is this something you guys noticed? Or is this just another case of someone not watching enough of Drew Lock’s film?

Thanks again for everything! Hope you and your families are staying happy and healthy.

Some Von questions for you but first some stats. If the google machine is correct Von stands at 106 sacks. His yearly sack totals from 2011-2019 are 11.5, 18.5, 5, 14, 11, 13.5, 10, 14.5, 8. If you follow the trend he should have a pretty good season this season but when it’s all said and done How many years do we expect Von to play? What will be his place on the all time sack list? And how important is his place on that list for his hall of fame ballot?

Who in the rainbow can draw the line where the violet tint ends and the orange tint begins? Distinctly we see the difference of the colors, but where exactly does the one first blendingly enter into the other? So with sanity and insanity.

The Chiefs are in a very different position than most teams in the NFL. They just won a Superbowl and have their franchise quarterback under contract for 10 years. They are at the top of the league and can afford to go all in on what they have. If they wind up with some cap casualties for a few years, so be it.

July 16, 2020

Yo fellas!

Hope all is well with you guys, just feel I need to point out the difference between Rugby Union and Rugby League..

When people say Rugby, where I live, and where most people do, it is Rugby Union they are talking about, and the most widely played variant (and the best!). I’ve heard all of you talk about Brisbane Broncos being a Rugby Team in Australia, but they play Rugby League, which has some major rule differences that could be confusing people.

Rugby League is this weird Northern equivalent (in the UK), that they only play in Lancashire and Yorkshire, pretty much, but they love it in New Zealand and Australia too. In Rugby League, you don’t place the ball on the floor when you’re tackled, you instead mimic being electrocuted to death for a few seconds (seriously, watch it on youtube), then you stand up and roll the ball back with your foot for the scrum half to pass it on, and the game continues. I literally piss myself laughing trying to watch Rugby League, who came up with this weird assed rule?!

League fans claim Union is too slow, as the ball can take a while to get out of the breakdown (not compared to NFL delays, you’ll think it’s still fast), whereas we find the tackle process in League, and general play, monotonous. They have to kick it forward after 6 plays too, which is a similarity to American Football. I wonder who came up with that idea first?

So anyone, when you’re talking about NRL Teams, it could get confusing for people. Colorado Raptors play Rugby Union, and the far superior sport. Rugby League should be avoided at all costs, unless you’re from Wigan, Warrington, St Helens, or Wakefield, in which case you will literally be born with a Rugby League Ball in your hands, or a Pie

You’re welcome!

Peace out and love to all

MY BOYS! Like RK, this Ryan is also a major procrastinator, which drove my parents—and now my wife of the past 12 years—crazy. In fact, I waited to file our tax returns until yesterday—the last day to do so without an extension. I will say that one time that I did not procrastinate was in writing a law review article in my second year of law school. I worked at a steady, incremental pace, which allowed me, to RK’s point, produce some of my best writing. In the end, my article ended up being selected for publication in a law review volume, and played a small part in changing a Colorado law that now allows residential property owners rights to capture some precipitation on their properties, which had been strictly prohibited previously since Colorado became a state. . . . Anyhoo, enough of my self-promotion. With yesterday’s announcement of reduced capacity and season ticket procedures for the 2020 season at Mile High, do any of you have any intel on what the Broncos, the Metropolitan Football Stadium District, and government officials plan to do concerning statutorily required half-priced ticket sales? Will such tickets be offered, reduced, or suspended for the 2020 season? DNVRMY SALUTE!
