Somewhat shocked that Ma$e isn’t aware of the reasons Coors was so coveted in Smokey & the bandit. The high alcohol content in the beer is actually the reason. As i know all too well as a resident of North Carolina the percentage is, or was limited to about 5% …. But, Colorado beer comes in at an alcohol content closer to wine in my state.

Now onto the Broncos?

The Broncos current roster construction feels like its a quarterback away from being in the conversation. The windows in the NFL are very very brief and its would be a shame to waste such a talented roster on missing the development peak. What developments have come forward in the Deshaun Watson accusations & is it an avenue the Broncos could still pursue??

If you’re the GM of the Lions and Panthers which trade package would be more enticing to you guys:

Picks No. 9 + No. 71
-or-
A 2021 first round pick in the 15-20 range + a future 1st rounder

Unless they desperately want a guy like Sewell or Slater, I find it unlikely that Denver’s package could beat out two #1 picks. Do you think Denver should be aggressive about trading up to #4?

In 2019 the Raiders selected Clelin Ferrell 4th overall in a move that shocked everyone. With that said, what are your predictions of a team picking top 10 that could select a guy that nobody is expecting and completely turn the first round on its head?

also idk if you saw peter schrager’s recent mock but he said something interesting about the broncos. he mocked lance to denver but said that the broncos would look long and hard at rashawn slater if he’s there.

we’ve touched upon the relationship between george paton and pat fitzgerald a lot but it’s also worth noting that paton was there in person the day that slater shut down chase young so you can see why he’d have such a high opinion of him. would y’all be on board with slater at 9- particularly if all the qbs are off the board- and how would y’all make him fit on to the line for year 1?

Who do you guys think is a bronco that’s been sort of forgotten my choice would be Eric Decker and honestly Wes Welker I feel like people often don’t give them the respect they deserve for being just great on the broncos. So who do you guys think would be your choice?

Guys your offseason grade thus far is an A+. Always on point with relevant topics with the perfect amount of information and opinion. There’s nothing else even remotely close to competing. Bummed I’m out here in Cali and can’t hit the golf tourney or swing by the bar for an Avs game, but you better believe 2239 E. Colfax Avenue is one of my first stops this Fall when I’m in town for a game. That’s all I got – just wanted to give you guys a little appreciation comment today. Thanks fellas!

Draft day is drawing closer and the speculation is heating up! Looking forward to the DNVR coverage extravaganza. You guys set a high bar last year, it will be cool to see what you have up your sleeves this time around.

I enjoyed Orange and Blue all over’s hot take comment, so I thought I would throw out a few of my own:

1. NFL teams are higher than pundits and fans on Mac Jones and lower on Trey Lance, and that includes the Broncos who seem to have gone out of their way to demonstrate they are out on Jones.

2. There is only one draft day trade in the top-10.

3. Broncos trade #9, #114, and Tim Patrick to Detroit for #7 and #101. Broncos select Mac Jones.

4. Trey Lance falls out of the top-10. ESPN’s constant camera cuts to a visibly uncomfortable Trey Lance make me want to punch my TV.

5. The Broncos will use two of their first three picks on offense.

Hope you guys are doing great! My apologies, i haven’t commented for a couple weeks. I have had a crazy couple weeks. But I just wanted to leave a quick comment and ask y’all what your favorite TJ Ward moment was. Of course, the legend retired from the NFL today. Thanks for everything guys.

What are your opinions on the number change rule? I really like it but absolutely hate that linebackers can be numbers 1-19. Something about that just irks me.

A scenario I was thinking about today after the news that TJ Ward retired (officially) today- who would win- the 2013 broncos vs the 2015 broncos. I personally would still put the 2015 broncos over 2013 mainly for the leadership provided by Demarcus Ware, Aqib Talib, Wade Phillips, and Gary Kubiak. Thoughts?

Besides potentially QB, which positions do you guys see a rookie starting at this season? Does that depend entirely on how the first round goes?

As a follow up to the green vs red sauce debate, I’m with Ryan. Christmas is the best! But I do prefer green sauce with chicken and red sauce with beef if given the choice.
