Gentlemen,

Based off of Zac’s comments yesterday it seems that he Teddy is the coach’s favored QB at the moment. Let’s assume for the moment that Teddy is the week 1 starter. Barring an injury, what circumstances would have to occur for Lock to become the starter at some point in the season? 0-1? 1-4? 2-1 but bad QB play? Interested to hear your thoughts.

PS. Especially for Zac and Mase. The amount of asinine trolling and stupidity you have to put up with on Twitter is infuriating. I don’t know how you do it. But props to you for not lashing out. I apparently don’t possess the same restraint.

zac, i think you’re selling dre’mont short with that 7.5 sack projection! last year he had 6.5 sacks starting only 8 games with no von, a secondary that was full of holes and no complimentary offense to give him leads.

the one thing that could work against him is that there’s expected to be a better rotation this year, but considering dre’mont is now projected as a starter his snaps shouldn’t be affected.

so, this year he’s a projected starter, will hopefully have von and chubb healthy and a much improved secondary. i know sacks are harder to get from the interior and sacks aren’t everything, but anything less than 9 sacks will be disappointing for dre’mont in my opinion. what do y’all think?

During the last podcast, the youtube comments arguing over teddy vs drew got me thinking…
Lock fans would rather risk losing games giving him another chance to shine, while Teddy fans just want to win, I can only hope we start 3-0, and everyone gets behind the QB, or social media will be a warzone! Cheers

I’m heart-warmed to learn that our pizza bet is still on, Zac. If you win, I hope you enjoy the onions on your pizza. Will you have them caramelized or regular? I love me some caramelized onions.

Two counterpoints to the idea that Fangio favors Teddy over Drew… 1) Fangio wants aggression (he fired Scangs for his lack of it). 2) Despite what a coach might tell the media, they 100% weigh a formal scrimmage over practice—Drew won by a significant margin; he has at least caught up to Teddy or surpassed him. 3) Drew keeps getting the first nods—the start of training camp, the start of the scrimmage, and the first preseason game. If this is simply due to Drew being the incumbent, still, that’s a respectable amount of respect.

If the competition ended today Drew would be the starter. Onion Booty out!

Ok so I’m watching and rewatching this Jeudy clip from today where he torches a DB and what in the world does he do with his feet/legs right as he’s cutting?! I’m blown away…he’s an absolute magician and whoever the QB is he’s going to eat and eat a lot. Love y’all, go Broncos and go Cats.
