Fellas! I think Broncos Country’s biggest issue is so many people have access to so much information and so many people are able to put their misinformed opinions out and get traction based on emotional reactions. And since emotion is so powerful, what was potentially a short term gut reaction, people are instead attaching emotion to their most recent evaluation and that has become their stance.

I was mad as hell during the game because Drew sucked, but giving myself time to digest the grand scope of the situation, I’m cautious but not ‘out’ on him. 10 games to see what the kid’s made of, and I still think he’s made of all the right stuff to be the answer here.

My Fellows ! I’m gonna to stop tossing you cheese, it’s time to get thinking.

Imagine yourselves on a darkling plain. You meet in the mist. You each have a tool and a material. You know not for what/whom the purpose of your creation must appease or convince…

RK – has a shovel and a rope
Mase – Has A bag of strong metal spikes and a three bolts of silk
Zac – has a sturdy cart and a bounty of soft wool.

You must work together.

What do you make/do?

Fellas,
I’m not super superstitious but full moons and the days surrounding them are no joke. And a Blue moon on Halloween for the first time since 1944 means terrible terrible things…. for the chargers.
Imagine if you will a flowy haired tall young QB in a powder blue varsity jacket adorned with lightning bolts sitting snuggled up to his sweet heart under the Hollywood sign with “The Herd” playing from the car radio talking about how great the Chargers QB play has been.
But it’s playing a little too loud. Too loud for him to hear the rustling in the bushes of the big ugly undead monster in a bright orange hockey mask coming to gut him nave to chops.
It’s getting scary on this weeks addition of 58 yard field goals where I hunker down to kick a 100 yard gooch blaster.
The defense will be nightmarish for Justin Herbert. Shelby Harris will have 3 sacks!
Justin Simmons will have 2 INTS! And Bradley Chubb will have 1 strip sack fumble! On what will forever be known as Justin Herberts worst statistical game of his career. The defense is angry and they are gonna express themselves.
What you got?

Hey fellas,

I’m torn between Mase and his pessimism and RK’s optimism for drew. All the statistics of qbs show he is doomed for failure and or has an uphill battle. But then there’s RK picking me back up again. I’m optimistic for drew this week, and he seemed fired up in press conference the other day. Is this the week he turns it around?

Hey guys just to clarify I said 4 games because even though these are good teams were playing these are games drew should get his feet under him ….. I’m sorry if I may seem to lack patience with Drew but I don’t want to make excuses granted I’m personally giving him until after the second chiefs game ….. But I’m past making excuses for drew if after these next 4 games he can’t turn it around my optimism is slim to none ….. I can’t stress this enough HE GAVE THE TEAM NO CHANCE TO WIN LAST WEEK NONE ! ……i can deal with how he played in kc last year he gave the team a chance and receivers didn’t execute but last week was so disappointing …. So for me if I’m going to have any optimism I gotta see it in these next 4 games …. There’s just too much talent on this roster TOO MUCH …… Let’s be honest no discredit to great players like kelce, tyreek hill , boss, keenan allen , …. But herbert , or mahommes would dominate the afc with this roster pure DOMINATION …their doing well chiefs are awesome but if mahommes had the broncos roster that be a real.dynasty if herbert had the broncos roster he’d be scary I’m the playoffs ….. Drew has so much talent AROUND HIM USE IT DUDE !

What’s going on my g’s! Crazy to me how badly people are panicking about Drew Lock. You have to give the youngster some time to get the kinks out. We need to stop emotionally reacting to each game bc we will drive ourselves crazy! There was a guy that played for the Broncos a few years back named Peyton Manning. He broke the interception record his rookie year with 28 picks while leading the Colts to a 3-13 record and I think he ended up having a decent NFL career lol. At least give the man the year before you start panicking. We have gone through a lot as a team including a change in O coordinator, no offseason bc of covid, season ending injuries to 4 of our best players (including our #1 pro bowl receiver) and the rest of the receivers are basically all rookies. How many more of those bombs would be caught if Courtland Sutton were out there? This year has been an anomaly so if he has an even an average year and we are able to make the playoffs, I’ll be suuper happy with that and the future of the squad.

I appreciate ya’ll, stay blessed!

Great Day Guys,
Hearing Mase singing on the Pod was one of my favorite all time moments! I smiled and felt true Joy! It also got me thinking- if you could only listen to one decade of music for the rest of your life what would it be? For example 60s, 70s, 80s 90s, 2000, or 2010. You can Only choose one! And Why? I appreciate y’all and want to thank you for everything you do!! Keep up the great work!

Hey guys! I’ve been staying away from Broncos talk this week as everyone seems to be melting down over our loss to the Chiefs. However, I think it’s important to keep some perspective, as this team is 2-1 in their past 3 games with their only loss to the Super Bowl champs and yet our defense is looking really strong. People are understandably down on Drew Lock, but this was only his 8th complete game in the NFL, and when we compare it to John Elway’s progress as a rookie, it doesn’t look so bad. In Elway’s 8th game in the league he lost to the Chargers in a stinker, where he passed for only 147 yards and had 3 picks and finished with a QB rating of just 26. The Chargers were terrible that year too, with a 6-10 record and the worst ranked defense in the league. Fast forward two weeks and Elway would pass for 345 yards and 3 touchdowns in an epic comeback win against the Colts. I think these next two weeks will be telling for Drew Lock and this team as a whole. Both the Falcons and Chargers are ranked in the bottom third of the league in passing defense, and Denver has a solid chance to come away with a .500 record after playing those two teams. What are your thoughts?

MY BOYS! Happy Football and Bum Talk Friday! I didn’t include feel good, because of Graham Glasgow contracting COVID-19. Hopefully, he makes a speedy recovery and there is not too much fallout. I like the Broncos’ chances against the Chargers much better than I did the Chiefs. I don’t see this team surrendering a defensive and special teams touchdown again or having four turnovers on Sunday, and the weather will be perfect. I think that Vic Fangio and Ed Donatell will devise a game plan to confuse and flummox young Justin Herbert on Sunday. The Broncos have shown that they can move the ball on offense. They just need to get the ball into the end zone. My question today is of the fill in the blank Friday variety. The Broncos beat the Chargers, if (1) ___, (2) ___, and (3) ___ transpire. Have a wonderful weekend! DNVRMY SALUTE!

Hey gents,

It’s time for your 58 yard field goals.

Not ashamed to give myself a pat on the back and say my attempt last week of a Drew Lock rushing TD might have been good from 68!

This week I’m going to say Jerry Jeudy gets the first TD on our first possession. What say you?

Have a good weekend

BB out

P.S. 9News are reporting that the starting RIGHT TACKLE Graham Glasgow has tested positive for COVID19. That’s the sort of mistake you might expect from your local blogger. SMH
