Hey guys! I was catching up on the pods and while listening to Tuesday’s one about Madden’s disrespek to Drew, I came across two things:
1. Mase’s emphatic “huh” scoff after Baker and Jacob Eason’s 93 throw power rankings is my second favorite Mase-ism (behind guttural Jano and ahead of 75).
2. A suggestion about the comments section: What if there was a set deadline or limit for comments to be posted? For example, 10pm MT or 30 comment limit? This way, members wouldn’t have to repost as often, and there wouldn’t be any confusion for new members.
Keep up the great coverage. DNVR has become my sole source for Broncos news!

“Jano!” Is now my father-in-law’s text notification on my phone

Hey guys!
The line responding to Homers question “why do you look like Cesar Romero?” Gets me every time: “because you don’t know what Cesar Chavez looks like!” It’s crazy how significant the episode is to the team. The team renamed itself from the Albuquerque Dukes to the topes because of how perfectly the name fit in town: thhe National nuclear sciences museum is in ABQ. All round Isotopes park, you’ll find paintings of the Simpsons family, a statue of Homer, even the the same toppings on the topes hotdog. And the best part, the street the stadium is on: Avenida Cesar Chavez
Onto football, this came up earlier in the week, but let’s dig in team by team. Today, the black and silver: what is your favorite game against the raiders? And for Mase, what is your favorite Bucks game against the black and Gold saints?

Hey guys!
After listening for almost 2 years, I finally have worked up the money (as a broke college student) to subscribe and just wanted to thank you guys for the content as it has kept me entertained daily for a long time. My question for today is who is your favorite UDFA from this year? Broncos have a history of turning some of them into stars and wanted to know who you guys thought was the most likely this year.

Robert Mondavi nearly broke himself to honor grape grower contracts when prices fell out of the bottom. When the waters rose all the growers of the good juice stayed with Robert instead of the completion (his own brother) and he is the reason we have fine wine in America today. (Read the rise and fall of the house of Mondavi if you want the whole riveting tale)
Sometimes you have to make decisions that resonate outside of the axiom of “good business.” It’s about people sometimes. Your people.
Fortune favors the bold and I fear that our beloved #7 has gotten way too conservative in more ways than one. I am loathe to believe that I am correct, but I suspect that I am.

WHOA! My band got played on the DNVR podcast! Am I dreaming?!
But really, thanks so much to yall for giving Ozonic a spin! In return I made sure to give YOU guys a shout on my social media to some of my fellow friends who may not yet know the goodness that is DNVR!
Now onto some Bronco talk. I have a question that may seem silly, but its something I have yet to grasp the concept of. What does it mean when a player gets the “franchise tag?” I know the actual GAME of football like the back of my hand, but when it comes to all the business stuff I get so confused. Would you be able to explain this term to me in a way that isnt legalspeak?
Thanks again, much love!

Who’s your favorite random Bronco? I’m talking someone goes “oh ya… that guy!” I’ll go with Tony Scheffler on offense and Terrance “Pot Roast” Knighton on defense. I’m 25 Mase, so sorry I don’t know who (looks up broncos 1981 roster) Barney Chavous is.

That closing track you played yesterday is fire. Sweet to hear one of our own making rad music like that.
Thanks for giving these folks a platform

My Boys! I’m a little delayed with this comment, seeing that I’m a few pods behind but I had to say, Zac had me rolling when he used the word “nonner” when referring to those who listen but are not subscribed. Nonner is a term that maintenance personnel in the Air Force use to describe those who have admin jobs in the Air Force, the PC definition is, Non-Sortie producing personal. So those who do not have an immediate impact on aircraft daily operations. It’s just comical to hear the slang that we use on the flightline, on this pod. No football comment today, but Go Broncos, DNVR, RK, Zac, Mase and everyone in the community.

Being just 26 years old I wasn’t around when The Simpson started; however, Mase I have to agree the best episodes are the early episodes.
That being said some trivia for ya: what is the name of the character who stole the towns prize position, the worlds largest cubic zirconia, and where in the town of Springfield did he hide buried treasure?
2) During a surprise inspection of the nuclear plant homer was made in charge of watching X what was this? An I’m following of his failed attempt to watch X and being forced to go back to school how did he end up graduating?
Enjoy your weekend fellas! Thinking I am gonna spend it to binge watching get smart or Alf!

Hello again, gentlemen
Did you see that Bud Lite is going to buy everyone in Denver above 21 years old a beer if Brandon McManus breaks the record for longest field goal?? What are the realistic chances he actually does this this year?
I somehow think the chances of him making the kick are way higher than the chances Vic actually let’s him try. Especially after last year’s fiasco.
Anyway, thanks again for everything you do. Hope you and your families are staying happy and healthy.
Orange and Blue coming for YOU
PFF’s got me F’ed up! Top 5 second year QBs for the 2020 season if you haven’t seen it it’s on nfl.com, can you guess where our boy is ranked…smh please help me understand

I guess Zac’s non-recollection of any “Omaha” names is my nudge that I need to comment once in a while rather than listening like a fly on the wall all the time. That being said, when The DNVR Bar is ready for some franchising opportunities to provide satellite locations for fans in other cities to frequent and meet up, I got dibs (I think that’s legally how that works, right?). Such a cool theme, cant wait to get out and visit!

I AM SO SICK OF BIASED IDIOTIC LACK OF PERSPECTIVE BRONCO FANS ! ….. Dude. MY BOYS! I need some squeaky bum talk and feel goodness this Friday! I’d like to hear your Top 5 and Least Favorite 5 Running Backs in Broncos’ History. You will find my list below. Note: I am only including players that I was able to extensively watch. Therefore, I am excluding Hall of Famer Floyd Little and a very good running back in Otis Armstrong.
FAVORITES
1. Terrell Davis
2. Clinton Portis
3. Phillip Lindsay
4. Mike Anderson
5. Knowshon Moreno
Honorable Mention: Sammy Winder
LEAST FAVORITES
1. Travis Henry (Quoniam res ipsa loquitur)
2. Devontae Booker (Ray Crockett dubbed him as the Butt Runner).
3. Laurence Maroney (Josh McDaniels wasted a draft pick on a guy who was completely ineffective and useless while a Bronco in 2010. Maroney gained a whopping 74 yards on 36 carries for an average of 2.1 yards per carry in Denver).
4. Maurice Clarrett (Yikes)
5. Jamaal Charles (He was misused/unfairly benched, miscast, and worn down when a Bronco).
I hope that Melvin Gordon does not get added to this list.
Have a wonderful weekend. DNVRMY SALUTE!

Yesssss Mase, Union over League all day long..
Crusaders a great choice; best team in Super Rugby and rich history of success and great players. Dan Carter, the greatest rugby player of all time, used to play there.
Rugby back in Southern Hemisphere, F1 already been back a month, Premiership Football, UFC, and now the mighty sport of Cricket has returned too.
Surely this NFL season is going to go ahead now? Please wear your masks people, even if it only stops one person getting Covid, it might be enough to sway the NFL bosses and Government Officials to allow the NFL to go ahead this year. Got all my bits crossed.
Sorry to Zac for making him read out all these damn foreign words. Next week I’ll post some Cricket Teams for you to read out too, lmao ? Zac, you know what Cricket is, riiiight?
Have a great weekend, peace out and love to all

Happy Friday everyone!! Hoping I get this one in soon enough but I’ve got some fun trivia before the weekend.
In the AFC Championship game leading up to SB50, which three players had the longest rushes of the game?
And to AmIrightOrAmirillo, Breck brew on me when we cross paths my friend for the Varsity Blues quote.
Love y’all,

Hey guys,
So this morning on Good Morning Football on NFL network, Justin Simmons said that if the Broncos wanted to get a deal, they could’ve. That’s a pretty powerful statement and it sure doesn’t make the Broncos look good. What could this comment mean for the relationship between Justin and the Broncos and the overall reputation of Broncos/player relationship. Thanks guys and hope you have a great day and great weekend
MileHighMike
Hey Fam.
I’ve seen some more Broncos concept uniforms, some good and bad. What are your picks on theses future possibilities?
1. Stick with navy blue or go Back to the lighter blue from the early 80s?
2. On the white Jerseys should they stick with the Blue numbers with the orange outline. Or reverse it for Orange numbers Blue outline? (Something I’ve seen in many concepts)
3. How many color combinations should we have and what’s too far? For example we have White on white, orange on white, blue on white, blue on blue and color rush. – but some concepts have white Shirts on orange pants or orange shirts on blue pants. I know this one is kinda loaded but where do we draw the line. How many is too many. The Chargers have 6 different combinations.
Love to hear your thoughts.
Go Justin Simmons, DNVR and Denver Broncos.
I have Spoken, MileHighMike.

Second comment. Just calling out RK cause he promised to hit up his graphic designer friend to come up with a rough idea of his ideal new Broncos Logo. I’ve sent him like 5 concepts and he hates them all. Still waiting RK 😉
