Hello group. Thank you for the fantastic coverage coming out of training camp this year. I’m glad those hills are being used by someone.

My question has a bit to do with training camp but is mostly targetted for the season. What will you each be watching for during the year to differentiate between the successes and failures of Lock versus those of Pat Shurmur? IMO, a plausible (but unwanted) outcome of the season is that our offence looks mediocre this season. We could go 7-9, miss the playoffs, and never feel like the offence plays well.
What can fans watch for during the year to better understand the offence? In some of Drew’s starts last year, it was frustrating watching the games and feeling like he was being held back.

The DNVR community is one of the rarest places on the web these days. Home to thousands of people who are the friendliest and kind hearted people. I am a firm believer that you attract the energy that you put out so hats off to you guys and the people before you. So refreshed to see the offense struggle I mean Mase is right gotta have some perspective let’s not forget Peyton the legend he is struggles when he first got here for a bit then the offense exploded and we never looked back ………my question today is what is the best case scenario prayer of a chance can you provide at rt because Elijah is being forced as the answer he isn’t the answer and IDC how good Von is he shouldn’t be so good that I have not blocked him all freaking training camp …given what we have what’s the best case scenario for us ?
Also …in a real scrimmage how did Jerry jeudy look against press if they played press man ?

I appreciate your comments last week in support of the player’s stances against discrimination and police brutality. It’s been discouraging to see remarks on social media from some of my friends and family, people who I once respected and are now showing a sinister side to them. I’m hoping that it’s just ignorance rearing its ugly head. Speaking out against injustice and educating with facts, all without allowing the conversation to devolve into personal attacks is the only way to move forward. As the great Martin Luther King once said, “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.”

Moving on to football. It sounds like Saturday was pretty rough for the offense. Can you report on how Demar Dotson or Netane Muti performed? Where does newly acquired Darrin Paulo slot into the mix?

After listening on Saturday and reading Zac’s article from the scrimmage my excitement for this season went from 100 to 0 in all of 2 seconds. Not only that, the only highlight on the broncos Instagram page was a play where Drew would’ve been sacked but threw it to Jeudy in tight coverage for a medium length completion. I feel like we, the DNVR crew, have fueled the hype train all off-season and we may become the joke of the AFC west.

I think back to when we ranked offseasons on this pod and argued why the broncos should be top 5, Ryan said first!. New rule: if you have a new OC for the fifth consecutive off-season then you are not a top 10 off-season.

These guys better get up to speed on offense in the same amount of time it took my enthusiasm to plummet. If not, this is going to be another long season.

Hope I am not too late as I just got this. I just received an email with an opportunity to have a fan cutout at the season opener ($100 to Broncos Charities). What are your thoughts of fan cutouts and has any of you heard any rumors of when fans will be allowed back in? Do you believe DNVR will be able to host tailgates this season? I may have to start making the trip to the DNVR a weekly ritual.
